Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
I noticed the same thing-- Greg Kelly wasn't on camera at any of the rallies, he was reporting from "the Ranch."

Well .. a small army is pretty big. There are thousands supporting the troops, America and President Bush in Crawford now.
Howdy! I'm irritated that we aren't getting "fair and balanced" coverage from FOX, but otherwise I'm fine :) Hope you're feeling better.
I think after today he has a good idea. WE outnumber the enemy, we've got his back and we've got our troops back. And if the media wants to play their games and not acknowledge our existence, we'll just keep growing and growing and giving them a huge migraine. What happened down in Crawford is real. Cindy's little 'vigil' has no support outside it's lunatic fringe of anti-semitic's, white supremacists, aged hippies, commies and the like.
You can bet D.C. is having these figures reported back to them, the REAl figures and it is going to make them quesy because they know as we do that the only spontaneous movement is the Support the Troop and C-I-C rallies in Crawford today. I especially hope hagel is feeling pretty damn sick right about now.

I called them again (3rd time) about 20 minutes before this was shown and said I was Livid that they have shown many minutes of Aruba and Cindy but couldn't choose to show this. I also said that I and others in organizations of some influence to which I belong had supported them from day 1 to help make them #1 - well, no more - we're all turning them off and we'll see how long they remain #1. I think it's disgusting that all of these people come from all over on their own money and they can't report that there are 3k+ there (as opposed to a handfull at the Slime Camp) and that they compare MAF w moveon.org.
Unless I'm uniformed, MAF, doesn't have near the supporters with near the wealth (such as Soros) as mov.org and there is no comparison.
It just fries my eggs that they can't show the rally and when they finally report on it, they can't report the truth. I thought Fox was different, but, with a few exceptions on that station, they're almost as bad as the rest of the MSM.
They may think showing this last report will smooth our ruffled feathers - but it doesn't do it for this chick - my feathers are up as much as ever.
I actually think the media is in shock, they did not think that many people would invade Crawford. Greg looked a little shaken! Maybe he is afraid the Red V. Blue war is coming to a head?
That did occur to me, so I'm waiting to see what's on later too.

This sounds fantastic! I hope the Sunday news shows cover it, but I'm rather discouraged about them. 3000 people comeing to Crawford from all over the country, and all we hear about is Cindy's gang. You wonder is the lame brains in the LSM even know the difference between the 2 groups.

I am really disappointed in FoxNews. When do bother to show Crawford, they show Cindy Sheehan more than our side. Well, as long as I have FreeRepublic, I can do without FoxNews.

Yes, I heard. However, I emailed them again...telling them to be sure to report the real numbers of these supporters...I told them if we can't get the proper reporting to send OLLIE NORTH...he'll get it right and is a Patriot...LOL
