Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
I think I would had passed out in that heat, especially wearing a sport jacket. ewwwww
Oh jeez - no we have to listen to Greg Jared & Darrie - YUK
It's Jeff Key (at least that's his stage name). He's also a gay porn actor.
I'll record it next time. I just got the software and need to actually (groan) read the instructions.
Yeah!
I actually feel like maybe I made a difference today, all those emails and phone calls . . . and got some frustration out too--LOL!
Even if the coverage is limited, it's still coverage.
I hope the President knows how many people support him. He's got to get down sometimes with all the protests, deaths, etc.
I didn't! They make me laugh.
If 200 was our bar, I think we barely made it. ; )
I have written an e-mail and sent it to several of the Fox News e-mail addresses. For those of us who could not go to Crawford, the least we can do is get the word out to the MSM that their lack of coverage is a disgrace and we demand equal time. They have spent weeks covering Ms. Sheehan's group, and it's time for them to give the other side of the issue the same air time.
Not to overshadow this event but that's important too. Your doctor should be able to tell you you're fat, it's not healthy and it's not attractive, without losing his medical license. And he did already apologize but she wasn't happy with that and wants to sue for monetary (hurt my feelings) damage and make him lose his license. I'm glad to see Fox reporting on this event.
Your a moron and shouldn't be bringing your little arguement to such an important thread. The ribbon is a symbol, and it can mean whatever people want it to. Currently it is a symbol that represents supporting the troops and the mission, despite the fact that anti-war groups make their own ribbons with anti-war messages. However, if you can't see that most of society is using the ribbon as the former meaning go start your own vanity thread.
I suspect a big report tomorrow morning on F& F. If not, I will be sorely disappointed then.
I'm still fuming over their skimpy coverage! Send them a thank note? For right now, AH, I don't think so!
we need FRtv!!!!
I concur, I just didn't have the cute little picture.

Who knows what they meant? It could have been a FReeper mole wanting to see the moonbats fly.
I think the 3 he was talking about was the MAF, Qualls and then one across the street from camp Casey.
Why would I kid you about how great FR is in covering what matters in America?
Generally, FR is not only weeks ahead of the MSM, they also have facts!
It's spelled caricature
I'm watching the Oriole baseball game. They just announced a promo for Monday night. Wear orange and you get an upper reserved ticket for $5.
It will be interesting to see how many people show up in Club Gitmo Gear.
Hopefully, you're kidding about hoping Katrina kills thousands in New Orleans ("hopefully it is that bad") or it's a typo? Many good people in New Orleans, some of them my relatives.
