I have no respect for Cindy Sheehan. None. I grieved for her when I first heard of the loss of her son, Casey.

I have no respect for Cindy Sheehan. None. I grieved for her when I first heard of the loss of her son, Casey. A real American hero, giving his life for the freedom of the citizens of Iraq. Cindy, who has been blessed by living in a free society, can't seem to grasp that freedom is a right that all people deserve. The more reports I heard of Cindy, the more disgusted I became. She called America an evil country. We have freed over one billion people from tyranny. We give money to other nations even though they despise us. Not only through our goverment but private charties as well. We feed, clothe, shelter and heal the sick throughout the world. This she calls evil. Cindy Sheehan hates this country. She has joined the bumper sticker mentality. "No War For Oil". "Bush Lied, People Died". Statements so ignorant they would be laughable if so many idiots didn't believe them. Why bother trying to understand what our armed forces are trying to accomplish when you can shout out the latest bumper sticker on Sean "Saddam" Penns' muscle car. "Weekend revolutionaries protest and sing Because they're dedicated followers of any old thing." Ray Davies My family has been in this country since 1633 and has been involved in many wars. No President from George Washington on down has comforted my family in our time of loss. Nor should they. They have an entire country to run. My family and others like them knew what they were doing when they agreed to fight. Freedom always comes with a price- the blood of those who give their lives so that others can be free. Cindy Sheehan is the height of hypocrisy. She has desecrated her sons name by opposing the freedom he died for. I have just one question for Cindy. Does she believe that Saddam Husssain should apologize to the families of the over 300,000 victims that have been found in mass graves.

You think your P.O.ed now, keep reading FR. There's a whole lot garbage going on.

I can't imagine being so self centered that I would look at America as something bad.

We may not be perfect but no other group of people have worked so hard, given so much, to make this orbiting rock a better place.

You might want to think about getting more involved in politics in your community. Might want to join your local Republican group in your area. It's actually a blast and it's pretty much a whine free zone!

My family, the first of which in America was John, settled in Hanover County, Virginia in 1725. He married Sarah Winston and one of the children they were blessed with, a son, was named Patrick. Although I've done nothing of particular importance as of yet, I'm sure you know of him.

The liberals, Cindy Sheehan chief among them, are a detestable group indeed. They have no honor, no dignity, no vision. Their goal is one that includes the destruction of America. They are the enemy from within. They are detestable.

This is not a blog. Jim Robinson owns and runs Free Republic. He lets like minded (conservative) people hang around and discuss things like the news of the day as long as we keep out feet off the furniture.
