How could you sleep on a night like tonight anyway?

She's a baby doll, she's so cute, one and a half hours old and gorgeous.

Wow!

Congrats Howlin! A lot happened while I was off-line.

Power just came back on here in Miami Lakes. When first light comes I will check things out. So far it looks like branches down, but otherwise all is o.k.

My neighbor's garbage can has now blown down the street and his recycling bins are out on the golf course.

According to the news, there seems to be much more damage south of us.

Wow, just got up 30 minutes ago...here in the Lower Keys, surprised the heck out of me to see Katrina 50 miles NE of Key West. Winds gusting to 65-70 mph and some real heavy bands of rain moving through. What a beautiful morning.

Hey you! Naw--crystal clear skies here--after diversion into Orlando during the wee hours, car rental, and two hour drive home.

Caffeine on board for the drive home...don't know if I'll ever sleep again...

Who drew that yellow line on the map? Could you imagine how the folks in Charlotte County would feel if it really took that path?

"Here she comes...oops...guess not. We're sending that thing back to Tampa Bay where Charley was supposed to go."

That is one crazy model path.

May I assume it's over for my side of the peninsula?

The wind was calm all night...and no rain.

I'm central Florida, east coast.

Who drew that yellow line on the map?

It's the mark of dyslexic Zorro.

Hopefully, yes. However, this storm has been full of surprises since making landfall.
