No apology necessary, Joe.

We know you don't mean it anyway.

You said what you said.

“Our message in the Tangipahoa schools case and elsewhere is simple: religious freedom thrives best when government stays out of religion,” he said. “We stand on dangerous ground when the government decides to favor one religious belief over others, even if that belief is the majority faith.”

It bothers me to agree with the ACLU.

Meh, "The enemy of my enemy..."

People should never apologize, nor be compelled to apologize when they speak their true beliefs. He spoke what he truly believes, and just because some people were offended, he apologized. How weak. What a worthless spineless POS.

I won't apologise for calling the ACLU a scum sucking, treasonous, dangerous, enemy within, POS group for whom Gitmo is too good.

"I see how my unfortunate choice of rhetoric could be interpreted as disdain for religious beliefs, but that is absolutely not my position, nor the position of the national ACLU."

How else could it interpreted? Disdain for religious beliefs is not the position of the ACLU???????? This liar is incredable! Why hide his true beliefs? I stand proud of mine. I will tell anyone I am a Chriatian, a Conservative ect ect. With liberals, esp radical liberals like the ACLU you have to look at their actions because you cant believe their words.

"In Thursday’s press release, Cook emphasized that his organization supports religious liberty and has handled many cases to protect the rights of Christians."

Name one.

“They don’t want to abide by the agreement,” said Cook in the August 15 interview. “They have always crossed the line of separation of church and government…

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;...

What separation of church and government? I don't see the Congress making a law here, I don't see any national religion here. What I do see is prohibiting the free exercise of religion.

“I see how my unfortunate choice of rhetoric could be interpreted as disdain for religious beliefs, but that is absolutely not my position, nor the position of the national ACLU or any of its affiliates.”

Are we talking about the same ACLU? Its bread and butter is Christian-hating.
