I caught the end of it. He did a great job of answering the interviewers questions. I liked it when he brought up the Cindy quote regarding that this country isn't worth fighting and dying for. I also liked it when she tried to pin him by asking about Cindy's first ammendment right to speak and protest. The interviewer was taken by surprise when he mentioned that he met with Cindy to talk, and when he tried to speak with her at one of Camp Crazy's meetings, Cindy gave him the boot.
Oh, that's good. What about Quall's right to speak, then...
Frankly, I think Cindy Sheehan is starting to backfire on them. I hope she stays in the public eye as long as possible.
Whay do they always fall back to "first amendment" talk?
Nobody that I know of has suggested that she should not have the right to speak what she thinks.
But that doesn't mean the MSM has to give her a 24-hour megaphone.
There is no constitutional right to NOT BE IGNORED.
Agreed. I am guessing the CNN interviewer was trying to make him sound like a loon who wanted to block Cindy's freedom of speech. He wanted to do no such thing, and he was kind enough to point out some of the insane things that Cindy has said. It was great. The only one who has sounded like a lunatic so far is Cindy and some of her handlers.
The more Cindy is exposed, the better.
There's a constitutional right to free speech, but one does not have the right to be heard (or listened to).
Cindy will be completely sold out by her handlers on the left before the end of the year. No doubt in my mind.
She was damaged goods to begin with and they stayed with it TOOOO long. Now she and her friends are like overripe fruit sitting at the grocery, rotted and drawing flies.
Yep. She should have stayed in California and cared for her mother. This return trip will not end well for the peaceniks.
If ever I wanted to burn a book, it would be the one Cindy writes after her adoring fan club in Crawford fades away.
This isn't about her son anymore (if it ever really was!),
it's about HER and her addiction to being in the limelight.
She's a sad excuse for a human being. I pity her.
The MSM will finally catch on, when in their determination, they think she can be safely jettisoned, at minimal damage to their machine, and at the same time, sell papers and viewership for them.
It is kind of like the Kerry denunciations of Swift Boats, threatened lawsuits, Max Cleland to the Ranch pathetic grandstanding, etc. that all backfired in their faces in late August one year ago. August 2004.
Interesting the timing is to the week. And the same phenomenon.
They are in meltdown mode, or will be shortly. I LOVE IT.
However, the only downside is that my prediction, the morning John Kerry lost, that about 10-15% of these leftist anti-US/anti-war dingbats will go psycho and actually turn even uglier and perhaps violent, is going in that direction. The disgusting antics in front of Walter Reed Memorial Hospital, is an indicator. As they get more and more slapped in the face by the American people and not accepted, a certain segment of them are definitely going to go more 'in your face, America', and violent, IMHO. That is the psychotic nature of the beast. These people are truly, truly mentally unbalanced and sick.
"Cindy will be completely sold out by her handlers on the left before the end of the year. No doubt in my mind."
Nor mine. Cindy is a useful idiot. Pity is the only emotion to fit here.
"Karl Rove plant" That's a good one!
Yep, it was a year ago in fact, when for the first time it appeared with certainty that Bush was going on to win the election after Kerry's meltdown started with the post-convention Swift Vets debacle. Only bush's bad 1st debate brought some doubt back into it, but still...
Hehehehe...I love the way one freeper put it!....
FEAR THE ROVEEEEEEEE
I'll give CNN their props...lately they have been doing some pretty good coverage and supporting both sides. I know...I know...sounds crazy!
Saw a couple of good things yesterday and today on CNN. I love Fox but get off the Aruba story and spend some more in-DEPTH stories on the Backlash Brigade going to Crawford. Interview some people about supporting the troops...forget the Perfumed Prince and the loonie woman from Newsweak.
Shhhh! That's double-dog-secret!
She gave him the boot? So if you don't agree with Peace Mother Sheehan's point of view you can't speak? Aren't Cindy's fellow protesters constantly screaming about's her First Amendment rights? Kind of reminds me of the liberal dems'(they run their party) perpetual rule at convention time to never let pro-life dems speak. Hypocrisy at it's worst.
