I would love to see a day, perhaps a Saturday, when Americans across this great country could do something to show the pansy countries of the world that we are serious about our love of freedom and our determination to resist terrorism aimed at depriving us of our way of life. We need some thinking outside the box to come up with an event that could take place at the same time all across the country would do whatever it is to demonstrate our dedication to the fact that all persons are created equal and that freedom is a gift from our creator, not a gift from a government. We know from watching tv coverage of demonstrations in countries that don't enjoy our freedoms that the leaders of these countries put a lot of stock in having tens of thousands of people turn out to show that we are as much walk as we are talk.

Having a candlelight visual at 12am eastern, 11pm central, 10pm mountain and 9pm pacific time would be an awesome show of support. The satellites would pick up such a massive show of support if the people all gathered at their county court house and showed their support. At least it would look awesome even if it was not strong enough for the satellite to get.
Another idea would be to have people donate currency to create a support for the troops path across America and tape each bill together with Scotch tape. Yes it would have to be rolled up after every half mile to keep the left from robbing the soldiers. At the end of the road have the cash used to buy Thanksgiving and Christmas packages for our soldiers.
God Bless America and Free Republic for going out of its way to help our fighting men and women!

If you want to help the troops get something they can really USE, please check out
Knives for the Troops . There are soldiers who write in everyday hoping to be able to get one of these fine implements. They have used them to defend themselves against terrorist fighters and extricate themselves from overturned vehicles. Folks can help put them in the hands of these deserving soldiers!
