Sad to say, I think senility might be in play here. Even Robertson's apology is just plain wierd.

He's been a moonbat as long as I can remember. But his call for Chavez's offing was a reddeming quality, IMO!

At least we can be confident that Jackson still has his head far up his butt.

Too many antioxidant shakes for Pat. He's suffering from "brain freeze".

Rev. Jesse Jackson told FOX News that an apology is not enough

The left's authority on "religion". Why don't you sit down, shut up, and take care of that illegitimate child of yours that you fathered with your mistress.

Chavez: now your turn to apologize to Pres Bush for all the outrageous things you've said about him.

Didn't realize Jack$on was still around. Does anyone care what his opinions are? Send him back to the eighties where he belongs.

You should never apologise when you were right.

Yep and Yep!

I have long said that the biggest mistake Venezuela was in not hanging the little twerp from a lamp post when they had the chance.

I saw proof of this on Fox this afternoon. He was on John Gibsons show being his usual @$$hole self.

Chavez should stand in front of Mugabe so bullets aren't wasted. Two with one blow! Yes i know it's not christian but I'd be lying if I said I'd not be happy if those two were gone from the planet.

Who cares? I mean really? The left is just engaging in moral relativism, while at the same time, not condeming the lunacy coming from their own side. I can't count the number of ways and times President Bush has been the target of mere thinking of assassination. Thinking of and actually doing it are two different things.

Whether Robertson is going senile or not is irrelevant. The left is just trying to play "holier-than-thou" politics.

I presume you're talking about the Rev. Jackson

He shouldn't have said it I suppose, but where is the outrage about the equally horrific remarks made about the leader of OUR country huh? Free speech for the left, censorship for the right is the norm these days.

But is it a Christian thing to say, what with the 10 Commandments and all?

Agreed. Chavez should be gone. He's a fruitcake and a danger to rational society.

"I didn't say 'assassination,'" Robertson clarified during a broadcast of his "The 700 Club" Wednesday morning. "I said our special forces should go 'take him out,' and 'take him out' could be a number of things, including kidnapping."

"Take him out" could also mean inviting him to dinner and a movie with a little romance afterwards. But I don't believe that was what he meant either.

Chavez and Mugabe are both awful, but we shouldn't put them in the same league. Chavez is awful; Mugabe is more repugnant than I can articulate. Chavez is stirring up trouble in the hemisphere and dragging his country into ruin -- not to mention his stupid posturing by attacking Bush -- but he was democratically elected and is not a mass murderer like Mugabe. I'm not sure it would be the Christian thing to assassinate Chavez; I'm pretty sure it WOULD be the Christian thing to assassinate Mugabe.
