I'm a newsreporter(and a freeper) I need help on finding out how many people might be at the Fresno Convention center - I'm trying to talk my boss into covering the event.. thanks...

I don't care if he's legit or not. Maybe he just likes to get attention, maybe he's just lazy, or maybe he really is a busy reporter and figured this would be a quick way to get info on a NON-FR event (Jim Rob wouldn't be the guy to contact, I wouldn't think). I also think that if it were me, I'd go about getting the info in a different way.
What I AM saying is that you guys here protest too much, over something that is utterly inconsequential. You give conservatives a bad name as prototypically mean-spirited, narrow, petty, and suspicious. Save it for when it really matters. When you respond the way you do to this guy, you don't do anybody any good.

Um. That's only the OUTSIDE number. It's much higher when you account in the Anaheim Convention Center (which is right next door to KFI) that they've reserved.

I AM vouching for the idea that a working journalist who posted on FR would go through several screen names in order to preserve anonymity.

Well now, I did try. I've yet to hear back from FR staff themselves, but I also have a solid number of 25,000 from a reliable source of mine.
I have some possibilities:
1. He's a Muslim extemist suicide bomber who uses the info he gets from FR to blow the caravan to smithereenies.
2. He's a DUmmie who will turn around and take the fantastic attendance numbers posted here in jest and use them out of context to convince like-minded liberals how wacky and unrealistic FReepers are, and how wildly they overestimate the popularity of the Caravan to Crawford. He'll be able to show actual posts from all the wits at FR to prove it.

Well, yeah -- nobody else around here will. You're the only one who attempted it, bless your heart! It's a legit question. As a former (sometimes current) journalist and someone who has thousands of times come up against liberals' belief that all conservatives are narrow, mean-spirited, suspicious, and petty, (and that only journalists from the MSM with big bold press passes are legit), the attitude of some folks on this thread hits a nerve. They are behaving in a way that is counterproductive, yet they don't know it. I am taking it on myself to try to let them know that they've got proverbial bad breath -- only someone's best friend or worst enemy will tell them that, and I'm a friend.
I see you were at Crawford earlier this month. Way to go!
My apologize. It was in bad taste! But it does get old and upsetting that we have had pro-American events and they get very little media coverage, while the moonbats and the rats got all the coverage that meets the rags agendas. I wish I could tell you how many are attending, but unfortunately I don't. I hope we have a fantastic turnout though! And I hope you will have the opportunity to cover it!
