My x-husband and I enlisted together after several years of marriage. The Army did all it could to keep us together for our entire time in the service. When he came down on levy for Germany, I was assigned to a unit at the same base. We improved our chances of remaining together by signing up for the same MOS and going to the same AIT school; but the Army personnel worked hard to keep us together.

The Army was very good to us.
