If it's too light---let the new owners deal with it! Amen, Sister!
We had been in the mid- to upper-80s before she left, so it may have been just a touch warmer in DeKalb and Tyler. But humidity is always a gotchya.
I haven't seen any of this yet, just so you know, but she said that she bought three new blouses, a short-sleeve suit (that doesn't sound right, now, but...), a purse, and some shoes. She always goes visiting with a suitcase that is only half full, or an empty spare!
Time to head for home, see y'all later!

Sounds like my kinda gal! I either go with it half empty or pack an extra collapsible bag inside for goodies that I just can't resist! BTW--there is such a thing as a short-sleeved suit for women! :o) We're smarter than men about clothes being comfortable!
See ya when ya get home! (((hugs)))

Don't be a hand-wringer, then. Be creative. Take a couple trumpet lessons, then go stand outside his place and play a fanfare. Get some friends involved.

Who did that cool photoshop? Thanks, Jinx, never saw that one before. She'd make millions on one national TV ad selling Green Giant frozen fresh corn, you know.

Well, I live in Texas and he lives in Florida. By the time I rent the trumpet--guess I could use my French Horn, couldn't I?--round up the friends, buy the airplane ticket, drive from Orlando to Cocoa, and get everyone organized, it would be time for him to go BACK out to sea! LOL! Guess I'm just stuck with waiting him out! Pooh!

I remember when Leeann Tweedin came to Iraq when I was there. When she came onto the stage every guy (including me) in the area went crazy. I got to shake her hand. Good for you, Multi.
JJ...looks like you had a really good seat.

MoJo, LW......lots of chocolate!! And you don't have to share. LOL!
The bad news is, you're going to play a statue. The good news is, you can lick your costume: Chef Fred Schmidtke of the Florida Culinary Institute sprays 80-degree chocolate onto Jai Mi Joseph. Five high school students in culinary training were coated for a display at the Harriet Theater in West Palm Peach.

BALAD, Iraq, Aug. 22, 2005 The separation during deployments can become a dangerous obstacle very quickly when it comes to marriage, but for two UH-60 Blackhawk pilots on Logistics Support Area Anaconda, deployment to Iraq has kept them together.
It feels completely wonderful to be deployed together, said 1st Lt. Rebecca DeForest, a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot from B Company, 1st Battalion, 126th Aviation Regiment, who deployed Jan. 9 with the South Carolina National Guard.
We can share all of our experiences first hand and we can relate to our jobs and struggles and our accomplishments.
The couple almost missed the opportunity to stay together overseas, but reacting quickly to their situation allowed the DeForests to deploy almost at the same time.
Last year I was in the 82nd Aviation Brigade, said 1st Lt. Patrick DeForest, a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot from D Company, 1st Battalion, 159th Aviation Regiment who deployed to LSA Anaconda on Dec. 18, 2004. Her unit got alerted for deployment in May 2004 and then activated in September. In September, I asked my supervisor if there was a possibility that I could switch over to the 1-159th.
First they said We'll look into it', he said. Then there was a one-for-one switch but the 82nd didn't want to because the other soldier didn't have the experience they needed.
He swapped out with a female lieutenant in the 159th because her husband was in the 82nd, Rebecca said.
It ended up being that another married couple got assigned with the 82nd and that way two married couples could be assigned in their spouse's command.
So she went over to the 82nd and I went over to the 159th, Patrick added.
The rest of the story
