LIBERTY, Ohio -- An unusual and noisy mystery has people in a small town north of Middletown on edge, worried and asking questions, News 5’s Brain Hamrick reported.
Liberty, Ohio, is a quiet little community, except for one thing -- the scream.
Jamie Young told Hamrick she heard it while she and her husband were walking one evening.
“It scared me. I didn’t want to finish my walk,” Young said.
But instead of running into her house, she said she recorded the noise and sent a tape to the local newspaper.

Having just returned from Toledo after a week there on business, I cannot offer any counter-evidence to that statement! Perhaps that makes them the best place to be, the most Godly, for didn't Cowper sadly remark upon those for whom "variety's the very spice of life" rather than finding pleasure in more wonderful mundaneness?

I have wanted Tony Lama boots for as long as I can remember, finally got a pair. I love them.

There was a story out of someplace in NC that I remembered reading about.
There was an old cemetary just outside of town that for some strange reason started to suddenly have "Hauntings"
There was a white shape that would appear above one particular headstone and would bob up and down. Sometimes moaning could be plainly heard coming from that grave.
People all over the town talked about it and folks wouldn't walk past that cemetary at night.
However the story finally had a valid explanation one night when a farmer discovered one of his best milk cows missing.
Tracking old bossy down led him to the graveyard where he found his cow happily scrubbing her neck on the tombstone in question.
The reason nobody saw her was that she was almost 100% black except for a white flame that graced her face from her eyes to her nose. The moaning people heard was her in her ecstasy at being able to scratch her itchy neck.
True story
He branched out into prowling around people's houses at night. When he graduated to trying to jimmy open my parents' sliding glass door, he got two charges of No. 8 shot in the seat of his pants, courtesy of my dad.
He never came around our house again after that . . . some messages get through even to the mentally challenged.

Happens all the time. A liberal finally realizes his/her philosphy is brutally wrong. A scream usually ensues.

I have always wanted to hear a screech owl ever since I was little. I was told they sounded like a woman screaming.
