The campaign in Iraq has had its ups and downs, too
Interruptions in the Iraq campaign do not make that campaign any less valid.
Hoping you now understand this fact of life.
GeorgieAnne Geyer thinks Iraqi's incapable of achieving even a semblance of democracy? Isn't that somewhat...racist? Aside from that, she seems to think appeasement and a big white flag would make them love us. Well, let's see how Al-Qaeda and Hamas and their ilk behave once they've set up shop in Gaza. Hint: they're already dancing in the streets, brandishing weapons and spouting hate-filled rhetoric.
She used to make sense some years back on the McNeil-Leher Newshour on PBS. Just about the only one who did.

Does it go without saying that anti-war peeps like Geyer have NO CLUE how to run a war? Anyone with a sense of basic strategy understands why Iraq is at enter for the war on terror. Trasforming Iraq into an Arab democracy is the first long-range step to stabilizing the entire Middle East and destroying the root causes of Islamic terrorism.

It is important to remember that the group Sheehan started is Gold Star Families for Peace and the REAL Gold Star Moms organization disassociates themselves with Sheehan on their website. She used this group to try and launch herself.

Every instinct I have is to respectfully listen to a grieving mother, I want to hear what she says about her son. What did Casey himself say or do that she wants known?
Cindy, however, has not talked about her son, Casey Sheehan.
She has talked with much cursing and profanity, about her own hatred of President Bush. Did Casey also hate and curse President Bush?
She has talked about her belief that our country is not worth fighting for. I know Casey didn't believe this, because one of the few things known about him is that he re-enlisted.
She says the WOT is all about Israel & oil and how she wants to impeach every republican (again lots of cursing). What did Casey say he was fighting for? Did he indicate in word or deed that the war is "useless"?
She says Casey was "brainwashed", but offers no examples in his own words in letters or e-mails.
Usually I would respect a grieving mother's right to privacy and not intrude with questions, but it is time to question Cindy about Casey.

She forfeited that right when she chose to use her son's heroic death to first try to get Kerry elected, then to engage in counter-recruitment efforts, and now to hurt Bush and undermine support for the war.
She should be asked to produce something to back up what she is telling the world that Casey believed, as he cannot speak for himself, obviously.
So appropriate that the presstitutes aka cunning runts initials are GAG !
