But the biggest reason behind Cindy Sheehan's lightning effect on the country is that she has been saying -- with her actions, gestures and intonations, if not exactly in words -- what has been left deliberately unsaid in America until now:

That the war in Iraq is useless, and that all those Americans who died or were wounded there died and suffered in vain. That Iraq is not and never was a war that America needed to fight, but that it was an adventure on the part of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Feith and the rest. And that it still could end horribly. This is frankly unbearable to most Americans, even now.

I agree .. all they are using each other. Cindy is using the press to get the attention and affirmation she needs - and the media/left groups are using Cindy to get funds for their "hate" causes.

Neither group is helping the other - they're exposing to the public just who the left really is.

The MSM and abetting politicians made it look like it had a lot more steam back then than it really did IMHO. I lived through that era and where I lived in Texas, the troops were treated with honor and the anti-war people with scorn.

Today, as you say, there is no draft, but, in addition, they MSM does not have the power it once had. Cindy Sheehan is a perfect example. With the internet we are able to learn and publish abroad the true nature of her ideology and protest so that people know that this is much, much more that a simple, "grieving mom". She herself is a far-left, anti-American with that agenda.

That takes the wind out of their sales and exposes their lies and deceit.

How to get more Anti War Protestors to the rally. Deliver the Mary jane (Pot) to the rally. That way they can get stoned at the rally. Second way provide cheap Wine for consumption.
