COMPILATION MUSIC WEEKEND!
|
Welcome To The Canteen Music Dedication!! If you've ever written us with questions regarding why we don't play a certain genre of music, this is your weekend! |
~ Music Mix I ~ Great Guitar Solos |
This music section pays tribute to some of the greatest guitar solos in Rock N Roll. If you're interested, this was from a compilation. We're only giving you a sample!! (A section we dedicate to Diva Betsy Ross!! She rocks ya know!) *Before anyone complains, we know some of you like to complain: This isn't the entire list of guitar solos. Just a small sampling.
What's that sound you hearing? Oh that! That's hotstreak gagging. He's only into guitar songs that are drowned out by loud drums. |
~ Music Mix II ~ Mini Tribute To Country Classics |
This section contains musical selections of Country Classics. If it was made after 1935, you won't find it here.hotstreak: Didn't they have drums back then? MoJo: hotstreak..folks like Ma get into this stuff. Hush! Besides, before Toby Keith there was these folks. hotstreak: Toby Keith is much better. He likes drums. |
~ Music Mix III ~ Motown Tribute |
This section contains musical selections from Motown Recording artists. Obviously, we can't to get every Motown artist. This is a sampler.
|
~ Music Mix IV ~ Punk Music |
This section contains musical selections from Punk artists. This section may have highly offensive music. Please click carefully. Not for kids or Ma. Although, most of these songs you'll recognize. However, it's done with a Punk flavor. In our pursuit to find music annoying to Ma's ears, we bring you PUNK MUSIC!! WOOOHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO! MoJo: hotstreak and MoJo dedicate this section to Du (radu) and all our Troops that love Punk music!! |
~ Music Mix V ~ Ska & Dancehall Music |
This section contains musical selections that are highly offensive. This section is not for kids or Ma. In MoJo's pursuit to find music that Ma won't understand, we bring you Ska & Dancehall music. WooHoo!! hotstreak: More good music. |
~ Music Mix VI ~ Rhythm & Blues Goes Rock N Roll |
This section is an *educational* journey for all those folks out there that believe that Usher and Alicia Keys are R&B. (That's you hotstreak!) If you believe The Blues are always depressing and hard to get into, this section may change your opinion.Remember, it's Rhythm AND Blues! If you like this section, we may do an entire thread dedicated to this in the future! |
~ Music Mix VII ~ Hip Hop & Rap Music |
This section contains musical selections that are highly offensive. This section isn't for Ma. To say that it isn't for kids, would be kind of bad for MoJo since hotstreak helped to put this section together. Parental Guidance needed for this section!! |

LOL...call it a Freedom Press...
You put coffee in the bottom of the press and pour boiling water over it. Put in the "plunger" lid combo, but don't plunge the plunger. Wait until the coffee is the strength you want and plunge the plunger. It will force the grounds to the bottom, allow you to pour the coffee with few to no grounds in it. I grind my own coffee for this, and do a coarse grind. A fine grind gives great flavor with less coffee, but you end up with more grounds in the cup. With a coarse grind I don't get grounds in mine. The amount of coffee and the time you wait all come with trial and error depending on your preferences, the size of your press, and the coffee you use.

Hey Drumbo!! This is a special request - I have been looking for this song for ages and can't find it.... Do you by any chance have "Women Are Smarter" by the Grateful Dead?? I saw them in Louisville in 1989 and they sang that song and I haven't heard it since.
