COMPILATION MUSIC WEEKEND!

Welcome To The Canteen Music Dedication!!
If you've ever written us with questions regarding why we don't play a certain genre of music, this is your weekend!

~ Music Mix I ~
Great Guitar Solos

This music section pays tribute to some of the greatest guitar solos in Rock N Roll. If you're interested, this was from a compilation. We're only giving you a sample!! (A section we dedicate to Diva Betsy Ross!! She rocks ya know!)
*Before anyone complains, we know some of you like to complain: This isn't the entire list of guitar solos. Just a small sampling.

What's that sound you hearing? Oh that! That's hotstreak gagging. He's only into guitar songs that are drowned out by loud drums.

hotstreak: Didn't they have drums back then?
MoJo: hotstreak..folks like Ma get into this stuff. Hush! Besides, before Toby Keith there was these folks.

The next time that I need a ping list, I'll use yours.

I do have a large one somewhere but I have never once used it, not a single time.

Ha! It's so much fun dancing with her...she doesn't know how bad of a dancer her Daddy is yet so I'm in the clear.

She loves the blues, old school rap, r&b and disco (mostly because that's what I decide to listen to!)

Sidenote: Thank you to Titan for tuning me into Mike Cross!! I'm already addicted!
WooHoo!! Not sure what genre we could file him under, but it's good stuff! Folk, maybe?
Thank you very much, MoJo! :o) Yep, Mike Cross is usually found in the Folk section. He has some really pretty music, and there's also a CD devoted to the funny stuff. Give a listen sometime to Elma Turl and, if you can find it, his in-concert dissertation on the making of the Appalacian fiddle. He's best known around here for The Bounty Hunter and The Scotsman.

Can you explain the french press concept to me please?!

We've got one in the way top cupboard but I've never used it...usually stumbling towards the auto-drip to get a fix and don't have the patience for anything else!

Either that or my now natural aversion to anything French!

If your Pop is Still around ask; "Is there is an Owl in the House?" Ask the old boy yourself - Pop, there you go!

Columbian is good.

I have terrible luck with coffee makers. I have to replace them every 1-2 years. Doesn't matter if they cost $15 or $150, I still wear them out.
