LOL...call it a Freedom Press...

You put coffee in the bottom of the press and pour boiling water over it. Put in the "plunger" lid combo, but don't plunge the plunger. Wait until the coffee is the strength you want and plunge the plunger. It will force the grounds to the bottom, allow you to pour the coffee with few to no grounds in it. I grind my own coffee for this, and do a coarse grind. A fine grind gives great flavor with less coffee, but you end up with more grounds in the cup. With a coarse grind I don't get grounds in mine. The amount of coffee and the time you wait all come with trial and error depending on your preferences, the size of your press, and the coffee you use.

I almost woke my wife up laughing at "Freedom Press" ...LOL!

Thanks for the info. I think I'm going to give it a shot tomorrow. After I pour a cup for sustenance out of the other pot, I've got some blue moutain I can grind for this new adventure.
