Police in Creve Coeur spent almost five hours early Thursday in what they feared was a life-and-death race to find a kidnapped teenager who sneaked in a call to 911 but didn't know where she was.
The 17-year-old was repeatedly raped and sodomized by her captor while officers from Creve Coeur and Florissant pieced together clues that led to her rescue on the rooftop of an office building, officials said.

The article I recall reading indicated that some companies had alreay met the mandate and some had not. The one(s) who had not met the mandate were lobbying the government to postpone the hefty fines that were due to start being levied against them.
But I'm sure that was a couple of years ago. I wonder if 911 triangulation is a regional requirement?

Maybe rapists would think twice if the punishment involved being butt raped with a jackhammer for hours on end. We are too nice to criminals. Our compation is reciprocated with their increased cruelty. The ony way to stop SOBs is to be a bigger meaner SOB.

They did an excellent job - dividing their time to hit two places at once - actually getting to the source of the janitor's ID - contacting the employer (after hours) finding out the other locations of his jobs was a great BIG clue - and I think they knew it the moment they found it out.
It was truly a great job - and I agree it did save her life.
I'm surprised that a place the size of metro St Louis doesn't have a chopper with night vision equipment ready to roll at all times....
