I saw the Pentagon headline, but I haven't looked at it yet. I will say this- it's a distinct possibility that Berger got all the docs that he needed to get out of the archives. Why he wasn't arrested, I don't know. Maybe it was too politically insensitive. ;^)
I disagree. Bill Clinton's pathological self-interest trumped all other concerns. He didn't hate the right that much, but he hated anyone who stood in the way of Bill Clinton getting what he wants.
Because Clinton is a self absorbed ass, only worrying about keeping himself out of the fire. With him worrying about how to keep his pants around his ankles without getting caught, he didn't have time to worry about anything else...that and he's just an idiot.
