An outbreak of dengue fever in Mexico has health officials here in Texas keeping a watchful eye across the border.
More than 100 people have been infected in the southern state of Morelos. Several people have the hemorrhagic strain of the disease that causes bleeding and, if untreated, possibly death. To prevent the spread of the disease, health workers need to enlist the help of the residents.
Oswaldo Zambrano, dengue fever prevention program director, says the enemy lives among them. He warns residents that they are providing a safe haven for the mosquitoes that carry dengue fever.
Many homes have standing water, which provides a perfect breeding ground for infected mosquitoes. A chemical that is safe for human and animal consumption must be mixed into the water to prevent new infestations.
The movement of people poses another challenge. If someone from an area where there's been an outbreak of dengue fever travels to another place, that person can be bitten by mosquitoes in the new location and the infection will spread.
Thus, it is critical to control the disease in every region of Mexico and reach every home during the rainy season. And if you're planning a trip to an area of Mexico where there's outbreak, use mosquito repellant.
what is that thing?
Well, Swinney, it looks like you've got a new Anti to help hurl insults a Republicans. Do you agree that President Bush looks like an incompetent dolt? You have to agree if you want to stay in good standing with the anti-illegals, because after all, their real target is President Bush.
Illegals are just a good platform to attack him on because they can appeal to the emotional level that is immune to countervailing logic, facts and reasoning.
According to sockmonkey....the elusive chupacabra. Try Gooogling it. Very weird.
"Illegals are just a good platform to attack him on because they can appeal to the emotional level that is immune to countervailing logic, facts and reasoning."
No one is buying this nonsense. NO ONE. Yes, it's a darn good platform to attack him on. Because he's wrong. All the facts and reasoning on this issue are wasted on you. You ignore the facts just like you ignore illegals criminal acts.
Now, go back to counting your ill gotten gains.
Taxpayers pay the bills for the illegal aliens. We pay their doctors, teachers, food stamps and goods and services are paid for for the illegals at the county level in citizens' taxes.
Once they come into an area they are immediately signed up to recieve free services. Their anchor babies are delivered free and when they go to school citizens pay for their schooling.
A person would have to be pretty stupid not to see Bush is engaging in a redistribution of wealth from the American tax payers to the Mexicans.
Another Immigrant myth.
Federal law prohibits even the legal immigrants from participating any type welfare programs for five years except WIC.
Should we take this to mean that you are admitting to being pro-illegal immigration?
Illegal aliens can use the same fraudulent documentation that they used to get their jobs to sign up for welfare and food stamps.
"Federal law prohibits" lots of things. Whether those prohibitions are enforced is another story.
And hey, as your new talking "point" makes clear, illegal alien labor brings a net profit to the US of $800 billion. Considering the Kindly Hardworking Migrants only send home about 3% of that, it's really kind of them to leave the rest here for us to enjoy. Excuse me, I have to wipe away a tear (or something)...

My Reply: Folks, you guessed it....it's time for Bayourod's daily beat down!!
The Census Bureaus 2000 Current Population Survey showed that 19.7% of immigrant headed households receive welfare despite the fact that illegal immigrants are ineligible for welfare.
Some think that illegal aliens cannot receive welfare benefits, but they can, as a result of a provision known as PRUCOL (Permanently Residing Under the Color of Law). PRUCOL means a status that has the appearance of, but not the status of, a legal right. That is not a status created by legislation, but a status created by the courts, which cannot Constitutionally make law.

The Free Republic OBL Sock-Puppet Brigade Ping List!
Lol bayourod's posts are always good for a laugh. The scary part is there's actually politicians in Washington and elsewhere who think exactly like him.
Welcome to integration with Mexico.
Many of them will run as conservatives during the election but govern as liberals, I've seen it a thousand times.
Well I bet you'll never hear him use that one again................until the next time he uses it again.
Here is a GAO Report that shows that bayourod is a liar.
