We thank You for the blessings You have bestowed upon us and for Your daily care and guidance. We thank You for family and friends; for the fellowship of believers; for food and shelter; for the numerous material possessions with which we are blessed and the beauty and wonder of nature; for the privilege of having been born in a great nation where freedom has always been cherished. But, Lord, all these things pale in comparison to the gift of salvation which You freely offered to us through the blood of Your own precious Son. Through His sacrifice the veil was rent so that we may come to You directly in prayer and praise. On the Cross He paid the debt so that we have forgiveness for our sins and atonement with You, our loving Father. At Calvary we received the joy of hope and eternal life. In spite of Your goodness and mercy towards us, we still fight a constant battle with our carnal selves and are grateful that You are with us to instruct us, to chastise us, and to strengthen us. Father, we are humbled beyond words at Your amazing grace and we lift our hearts in praise and adoration.
Lord, we remain in constant prayer for our President. It is such a comfort to know that his heart is in Your hands and that he heeds Your word, letting You direct his heart wherever You please. His burdens are heavy and his detractors are eager to bring him down, stooping to the lowest levels of deceit in order to try to discredit him. Guide our President; let him hear Your voice amidst the clamor that surrounds him; place Your wisdom within him that he may lead our nation according to Your will. Let this time he has at the ranch be a time of reflection and renewal for him that he may draw ever closer to You. Bless his family, O Lord, and watch over them all, keeping them within Your protective embrace. Lead all the members of the administration and of our government as they strive to do what is right. Let them keep their ears bent towards You and Your Word as they make the tough decisions they face each day.
Father, our military are performing extraordinarily difficult tasks with grace and honor and yet there are many in our nation who seek to besmirch them and destroy their morale. Speak to our troops, O Father, and encourage them, enabling them to carry on with their noble mission. Keep them under the shadow of Your wing, O Lord. Heal those whose minds or bodies are bruised and broken. Let the families of those who are deployed feel Your strengthening presence with them and bring comfort and peace to the families who grieve for fallen heroes.
Father, we pray for those in our land who do not have a saving relationship with You through Jesus. Quicken their hearts, O Lord, and bring these lost sheep into the fold that they may know the joy that Your children share. Bind the hands of satan as he seeks to lead our people astray. Restore in our nation a desire to have a culture of life, a devotion to You, and a knowledge of the Truth. In the Name of Jesus. Amen.
What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.
Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness; take it to the Lord in prayer.
Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge, take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do your friends despise, forsake you? Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms Hell take and shield you; you will find a solace there.
Blessed Savior, Thou hast promised Thou wilt all our burdens bear
May we ever, Lord, be bringing all to Thee in earnest prayer.
Soon in glory bright unclouded there will be no need for prayer
Rapture, praise and endless worship will be our sweet portion there.

I don't remember to pray for President Bush every day, but when I see this thread, -I pray for President Bush.
Thanks.
Dear Heavenly Father in Jesus name I join Kayak in prayer as we stand in one agreement in one accord for your perfect will to be made in our life, our Beloved President, our country and our family.
Thank you again that you give us your wisdom to understand what is going on in our mist. We see the enemy working overtime while we Christians sit by the road side. Please forgive us for our sin of ommission and commission.
We humbly ask that you keep our President in perfect peace. Thank you that you give him favor with the people of America even thought the liberal media and the god of this world says it otherwise.
Thank you for the victory we have in you, because we know that this battle is not fought with conventional weapons but with the word of God with the pulling down of stronghold of the enemy. For we fight not against flesh and blood but against principality, rulers of darkness and evil spirits in highest places, Satan himself and his demons and evil spirits that go around roaring like a lion trying whom they may devour.
Thank you again for the peace that only comes from you.
In Jesus name we bind the spirit of confussion, the spirit of lies, the spirit of murder and the spirit of Sodom and Gamora that tries to influence our country. We loose the spirit of true, love, understanding to pour over our nation to deliver those that are in bondage and in control by the enemy.
Thank Father for hearing and answering our prayers, in Jesus Name Amen.
AMEN KAYAK AND AMEN ALL!
