Either Rush is too mainstream or I'm officially extreme.
I cant take him much any more.
Always fighting battles and not THE WAR.
Yeah and who do you count on? Hannity? He always copies Rush...everyone does

I'm not sure I understand your comment as it relates to this transcript. I heard the caller today...she made me tear up. What do you take exception with here?
I listened to the call today and it was tough listening to a mother who's son has been wounded and is going back but she still supports the war. I guess in the context of this post and Rush's response I really don't understand your comment. Can you elaborate?
I was so proud of that woman, to hear her say what she said. And she resembles the sentiment of far more mothers, fathers, spouses, and children of our military members than does Cindy Sheehan.
I think you needed to hear her - her voice kept breaking - it was very effective. Her outrage at Cindy's actions was palpable.
I agree. This caller was just phenomenal. It was very emotional listening to her.
Rush: "You are far more a voice, a representative voice of the people of this country than any of the rabble rousing malcontents that are being given airtime in a failed attempt to destroy the policy by the mainstream press."
A1 Straight!!
If we fought just the war and not the battles at home then the war will be lost.
Example A: VIETNAM
When listening to Debbie today, I started sobbing. I hope she knows how many people DO honor her family's sacrifices. I would love to shake her son's hand and tell him thank you.
Sorry pal, a war ain't nothing BUT a bunch of battles.
If we don't fight the battles, we lose the war.
This morning on the Today show Matt Louer was in Iraq and talking to the troops. I couldn't believe it! The Today show?
But they let the troops speak. They actually let them speak! And they said they want us to understand that they want to finish their mission. And one said they don't understand our media why they don't report all the good things they are doing over there.
I was so proud of all of them standing there holding up their hand written signs to their loved ones and waving. God Bless them!!
When you hear people say "Where do we get men like this" you can answer "from women like Debbie"
This week, is the finest example of why I've stayed with Rush since 1990. How he handled that call today was definitely with "Talent on loan from God"!
That was a great call.
I choked up listening to this caller today. God Bless her son and her too!
God bless you, Debbie and your wonderful son as well.
