4-Corner FReep of Code Pink's Quagmire at Walter Reed, Aug 12 (Heavy graphics, Join us Aug 19!)
DC Chapter ^ | August 17, 2005 | BillF

Posted on 08/17/2005 1:08:48 PM PDT by BillF

For the eleventh week in a row, FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond have outnumbered Code Pinkos at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center.  In the liberal bastion of Washington, DC, a city filled with left wing activists and where about 90 percent of the people voted against George Bush, Code Pink cannot muster enough people to achieve the desired fraud and deceit at their Walter Reed protest. The highlights tonight included one of the male eunuchs of the Pinkos being pulled back by Pinko women when he strayed to another corner. More importantly, a double amputee soldier stopped to thank us for being there.

Do you think that the Pinkos are sickos to have an anti-war demonstration at a hospital holding war-wounded? Then please help us by showing up next Friday night per details below.  Stand up against the Pinkos who've endorsed the Iraqi resistance (see here and here), given money to the other side in Fallujah, and called our troops "killers." Then, the Pinkos demonstrate at the hospital and pretend that they support our troops.

This was Seventeenth Fabulous Fun FReep of the Code Pinkos as FReepers continue to frustrate the Pinkos' evil scheme. Pinkos want to fake friendship with soldiers in hopes of finding one or more who, vulnerable in their wounded state, can be manipulated into joining the anti-war movement and breaking faith with their fellow troops. Many of the most severely wounded troops from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan are taken to Walter Reed for continued treatment and rehabilitation. The Pinkos other goal is too demoralize those wounded troops.

As we have done on a number of these FReeps, we ate pizza on site at the beginning of the FReep.

The honor roll of those in attendance:  Landry Fan, tgslTakoma, Albion Wilde, Justanobody, lurker Joan, EDINVA, Jimmy Valentine's brother, trueblackman, beandog, Jack Deth, Fraxinus, BufordP, kristinn, and BillF.

As happened last week, many of the FReepers, who are regularly at the FReep, were away for Halliburton-sponsored seminars in manipulation of Debold voting machines (why do liberals even bother voting?),  facial recognition software, planning one-way GITMO trips for leftists (latest plan involves putting leftists on inner tubes with dead fish hanging off the bottom of the tubes during their float to Cuba), and related topics. Our numbers were down because of the large number of FReepers on travel.

Click on another photo and its larger version should open in the same window that the first enlarged photo did. Note that some of the wider photos may open in a window wider than your screen and you can use a horizontal scroll bar to see parts.

Photos will be interspersed in the report. As it got progressively darker, my telephoto lens shots became less clear, requiring software enhancement. You will notice that people look more like cartoon characters in my later telephoto lens photos.]

Opposed to our fourteen patriots, the Pinkos fell short yet again, but had their best comparative showing in weeks. The leftists peaked at twelve America-hating traitors. However, half did not come until the second hour. Their average for the 2 hour window designated by the Pinkos for their blood dance was about seven. Our average was about thirteen as we had one or two late arrivals.

Blue Pony-Tail Guy arrived about 3 minutes after the 7 pm start time and started uploading the signs. As there were several weeks
in a row when they didn't even arrive until 15 or 20 minutes late, this was pretty timely for them.

Surrounding tgslTakoma's great MOAB (Mother of All Banners) are (L-R) Justanobody, kristinn, Landry Fan, Fraxinus,
tgslTakoma
(in background behind Fraxinus), lurker Joan, beandog, and BufordP.

As has happened during the last couple months, the Pinkos didn't even pretend to be protesting the fact that Walter Reed admits new war-wounded patients at night, instead of during the day. That is their pretense for holding their continuing obscene blood dance at the hospital, instead of at the White House or Congress, where policy decision makers are. None of their signs had anything to do with night-time admissions. The Pinkos outside Walter Reed still pretend that they support the troops, but few, if any, troops are buying it. After all, the Pinko web site still calls our troops "killers." Plus, FReepers are on scene making sure that troops know the truth about the Pinkos.

Fifteen minutes after start time, one leftist holds a sign as Blue Pony-Tail Guy illegally mounts signs on Walter Reed's fence.

They only had these four losers and one additional one (who came after this photo was taken) for the first hour. We had 9 or 10
at the 7 pm start time and an additional 2 or 3 within the first half hour.

This soldier argued with the leftists for about twenty minutes. Here he's face-to-face with Crazy Backpack Guy holding
his Mullah Bush.sign.

The soldier in the above photo parked his car next to the leftists, then got out and talked to them. He then moved his car across the street to a better parking spot on our side of the road. We talked to him briefly. As he was going back to argue with the leftists, I said, "Be careful, they can get violent when someone dares to disagree with them." The soldier laughed and replied, "I've been in war for a year. I think I can handle them."

DC Chief Pinko, Gael Murphy, (black shirt on left) arrived at 8 pm, one hour late. For the longest time, the four on left stayed in a
huddle.

DC Chief Pinko, Gael Murphy, drove by at 7 pm, but kept driving. Apparently, she was out searching for more people to bring. Then, she showed up by herself at 8 pm, an hour after the start time.

lurker Joan, beandog, Jack Deth, and BufordP

EDINVA and trueblackman

Squeegee Guy (tall guy near center in white shirt) showed up during the second hour.

We occupied our main corner and the corner across the side street from our main position. At some stage, Squeegee Guy (so-called because he has stood in a crosswalk in front of cars and wave his signs) moved to another corner next to the Walter Reed sign per below left photo.

Squeegee Guy stands alone at the Walter Reed sign corner.

Squeegee Guy, arms outstretched,  adopts a strange posture

trueblackman at right moved down the way from Squeegee Guy as tgslTakoma takes photos from that sign corner

At some stage and as shown in above photo, trueblackman moved down the way from Squeegee Guy and tgslTakoma started taking photos from that corner. Squeegee Guy walked up to trueblackman and started arguing with him. Another Pinko (not shown in photo) was at that corner and told tgsl that "I don't give you permission to take my photo." tgsl responded, "Then you have to leave a public place."

Squeegee Guy starts to leave the corner as will Crazy Backpack Guy shortly as BufordP (left) and trueblackman (right) watch

When tgslTakoma left the sign corner, BufordP went over there. Crazy Backpack Guy came over there and a couple Pinko women (not in photo above) called the eunuchs back to the main Pinko corner. As they left, FReepers laughed and mocked them.

After the Pinkos left that WR sign corner, BufordP and trueblackman remained.

Pinkos near the end of their protest

Unfortunately, the leftists stayed an extra 40 to 45 minutes after their designated quit time, possibly out of guilt that so many of them came way late.  Surprisingly, the normal bus that returns wounded troops from a night out did not return when we were there, possibly due to an extra late outing.

Justanobody (behind the column), Albion Wilde, and kristinn at the Pinkos corner, after they had left

After the Pinkos left, some of us went over to their corner, thus completing the 4 corner FReep of the Pinkos.

We were then honored to have a soldier (photo on right) and his fiancé stop to thank us for being there. We thanked him for his service and for our freedom. The soldier, who lost both of his legs from a grenade attack in Baghdad, is out of Walter Reed now. He and his girlfriend go back there often to try to cheer up the other wounded troops.

When you talk to members of our military with the positive attitude of this young man, you know that, as one of our signs says, America is "Land of the Free because of the Brave." God bless him, his fiancé, all of our troops and their families.

We absolutely must keep the pressure on Code Pink and keep showing the wounded soldiers at Walter Reed that Code Pink doesn't speak for the nation. If you live in the DC area and haven't yet come out for one of these FReeps, please do so this next Friday. Injured Walter Reed patients, including amputees, have repeatedly told us how important it is for us to be there to counter Code Pink.

If we can sufficiently outnumber the leftists often enough, embarrassment may cause the leftists to stop these outrageous morale-damaging ("Maimed for a lie" is one of their commonly-used signs) demonstrations at the hospital. What about you? Can you spare a few hours on a Friday night?

Can you give up next Friday night at the movies to support troops who've given up limbs for your freedoms? Will you?

This FReep is rewarding, fun and important for our troops and our nation.

Soldier and fiancé stopped to thank us for being there.

For those of you in the DC area, we need some additional FReepers to join us for FReeping Code Pink every Friday night, until further notice, starting at 6:30 pm and until about 9:30 pm. How about coming out this Friday? You can join us in progress if you can't make the beginning of the event.

Can you sacrifice an evening to honor the much greater sacrifice that the troops are making for our freedom?

DC Chapter co-leader kristinn has confirmed that we shall continue FReeping the Code Pinkos every Friday night until they stop their obscene blood dance outside the hospital of our war-wounded. If you agree with me that it is outrageous for Code Pinkos to demonstrate at a hospital with war-wounded troops inside, please come out and join us in a peaceful counter-protest.

One of the amputees told me months ago that he doesn't want other wounded troops coming into Walter Reed and seeing only the Code Pinkos at the gates. He explained that the FReeper presence there was extremely important to counter the Pinkos. Please join us and be a part of our peaceful counter-protest to Code Pink.

Please don't let the troops think that regular Americans are too busy with TV, ballgames, movies and other recreation to peacefully counter America-hating leftists.

Being there with us in spirit is great, but we need people to hold the MOAB (Mother of all banners), other signs, and flags. Maybe you can't come every week, but please make it your patriotic duty to join us at least once in the near future.

As always, the DC Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect.

Briefly, they are: No violence. No profanity. No racism. No provocations. Obey the law. Treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

Start at 6:30 pm and go to about 9:30 pm.

Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 7200 Georgia Ave., at Elder St., NW

Code Pinkos have been setting up on the southwest corner of the Georgia Ave/Elder St intersection. We've been setting up on the northeast corner across the street from Walter Reed's entrance gate.

DC Chapter ping!

FReepmail me or post a reply to get on or off the list.

The same FReepers are doing almost all of the these FReeps. We do so gladly as a labor of love for our brave troops fighting terrorists over there, instead of waiting for the terrorists to come here. We FReep especially for those wounded in combat. However, some FReepers' family vacations or other obligations may prevent some of them from coming this next Friday.

Our troops are bold enough to face bullets, mortars, IEDs, and suicide bombers. Are you bold enough to get out from behind the keyboard, FReep in person, and stand up for the wounded troops at Walter Reed?

If you're in the DC area and don't have family or work considerations that keep you from FReeping, can you spare a few hours on a Friday night? Will you?

The young man who stopped by with his fianceé was part of the Arkansas National Guard Unit. He had a tremendous attitude and was swapping war stories with trueblackman and Jack Deth. But he said that since he was with a Guard Unit he was only disabled on weekend a month. Had to leave at that point.

We are wearing them down. They just never expected they would be greeted by fierce FReepers who call them "burka boy" and "terrorist-lover". It hurts their enormously inflated feeeeeeeeelings.

I have a serious request for all Freepers and Lurkers In Good Standing who live within a decent driving distance from DC:

I will not be able to be at Walter Reed this Friday.

I need someone to stand in for me this Friday night at Walter Reed.

Will one of you who has been thinking to yourself, "One of these days, I'm going to go down to Walter Reed and let our wounded soldiers that I support them," please do me a HUGE FAVOR and come on out this Friday?

I'll owe you one.

Thanks!

P.S. I have it on good authority that our Walter Reed Freep Supplies (including the MOAB) are in a secure Halliburton Facility, and will be delivered to the site on Friday in the Halliburton Dirigible of Doom.
