Are you just some a$$hole looking to harrass those that are new and post questions you don't approve of? If I am mistaken about the trollishness of the poster, I am in good company.
Read the replies.

I'm more interested in the security we've gained. If your afraid; buy a gun, move to a rural area, and stay in your home, but don't screw with the United States Constitution.

What freedoms did we have before?
Seriously, the highest percentage of the population incarcerated in the world, no-knock warrants, the war on drugs, the war on cash, eminent domain, wiretaps, "know your customer", the IRS, etc, etc, etc ....
I guess the Patriot Act just made it slightly easier to trample the Bill of Rights, but that's really about it.

1.) Even most Donks hate the idea of a Hillary presidency, so IMO she ain't gonna make it.
2.) No more than the Bush administration is using the PA against lefties, IOW not at all.
Paranoia runs deep...

Isn't it amazing how so many people who have hissy fits about the Patriot Act think Campaign Fiance Reform is "brilliant" legislation?
So apparently in Hysteric Leftists land, giving billionaires like George Soros undue influence in our elections is GOOD, making it harder for Islamic Terrorists to kill us is BAD!
More proof why it is just not safe to vote for a Democrat any more.

Well said. Thanks..... Some posters need to realize that when the government says its for our own good, thats reason enough to be leery. Especially when it comes to Federal law.

Ok now that we got the usual stawman about "Stifling a valid question" out of the way. BTW, What does the US Constitution have to do with what can, and cannot, be said on a PRIVATELY OWNED forum? Please answer the the question this thread is really about
i>Name one freedom you have lost as a result of the Patriot act?
I am really interested in hearing your answers

Ever pause to consider that blind opposition to everything because a "Government" say it is every bit as intellectually indefensible as blind acceptance of the same?
