I'm surprised the DOSE last night came out really good.
There were some super photos posted Pip glad you are pleased with the results it was fun posting some of my favourites.

Oh, I am so glad you did! They were great, they really got the congregation tapping their toes and clapping their hands. I may not know an organ when I see it, but I know good music when I hear it. LOL!
Another one that you will definitely want to download and save is the one I will be posting with my table later today. It is WVNan's son playing the fiddle with his group, "Idletymes". It is a beautiful, "soulful" gospel song. The entire WVNan family is very talented. :-)

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting. Here's one man’s response:
I went to the store the other day. I was only in there for about 5 minutes. When I came out there was a city cop writing out a parking ticket. I went up to him and said, "Come on, buddy, how about giving a senior a break?" He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. I called him a name. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn tires. So I called him a worse name. He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket.
This went on for about 20 minutes. The more I abused him the more tickets he wrote.
I didn't care. My car was parked around the corner and this one had a "Hillary in 2008" bumper sticker on it. Now that I'm retired, I try to have a little fun each day.
It's never too late for a joke. :-)

success with both. took apart both, wiggled a few things & sprayed with WD 40 & put back together & they work. Really lucked out this time.
Yes, you can ship them for warranty repair. Pain in the butt.

Your posts at the Finest always make me smile, Kitty. I am so pleased that you've enjoyed the photos and my "Lucy and Ethel" Shower story. It was a bit embarrassing at the time, but lots of fun to look back on and tell about. Nan is such a joy to be around, and my niece, scubachick, is always fun too. Can't remember when I've laughed so much. :-)
Alas, scubachick is traveling out to San Diego right now, and Nan has a doctor appointment, so neither of them can join the thread. I am counting on them coming in later....at some point.
I just got my DSL working and the first thread I hit was this one -- one I have never been able to view with dial-up.
