"Sens. John Cornyn and Christopher Bond were right to demand that Gorelick testify publicly about the wall, a demand the 9-11 commission flatly rejected last year just as it dismissed out of hand one of the consequences of that wall: the failure to pass on intelligence on an Atta-al Qaida link.

As a frustrated Cornyn said last year, "(Gorelick) is a person with knowledge of relevant facts. Either the commission wants the whole truth or it does not." Maybe not.

Maybe we should reconvene the 9-11 commission, let the Atta intelligence be publicly discussed, debated, debunked or confirmed. And this time call Jamie Gorelick as a witness."

Someone interview John Ashcroft. Where is he? He was the only one woh pointed this stuff out at the time. And I think he was slapped down for doing it.

When you think about it (and we already knew it here at FR), Clinton and his administration are responsible for 9/11 becoming a reality rather than a plan. All those deaths, the havoc our nation has gone through, the money the economy lost, are all their fault because they sat there and did nothing. Like the saying “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing” isn't applicable because there were no good men or women in that administration.

They ought to be hung out to dry for malfeasance if nothing else. I despise that man.

An interesting theory. The firewall was erected by Clinton appointee Gorelick to protect the Clinton's and the democratic party from investigation of those Chinese contributions into the campaign coffers. And now their best defense is an offense.

Clinton et. al. not only put in place barriers (walls) to prevent intelligence sharing, they also would later cover up the existence of these walls to the American public and of course to the 911 commission, which was being run by a representative of the Clinton Administration. Thats a whole lot of risk to expose yourself too. Obviously if Kerry had won they would not have had to expose themselves to these potential criminal charges.

The worse case conspiracy would insinuate that this was done to cover up the specific terrorist who would later carry out the 911 attack. That could also mean that a 911 type of attack was planned and potentially operational even during Clintons last days. Perhaps this was Clinton's ace in the hole just in case the senate decided to remove Clinton from office with the impeachment vote. Dont know if the time lines fit precisely. Of course to lose the Senate vote, the actual voting would have had to take place when Arlen Spector was not half way into his bootle of Scotch.

We can never allow a sixties radical into the White House again.

I was a lefty back then, and I used to sit around with other fellow travelers dreaming of the day when we could get one of our own in the White House. We knew this person would have to be a bit devious just to get elected. This person would then proceed to dismantle the hated "military industrial complex", and also dispense with the real enemy, capitalism.

We loved America, but only conditionally, we hated everything that today I realize made her great. Clinton's actions while in office indicate that he never left the plantation, he deliberately weakened the military, deliberately neutered the FBI and CIA, and failed only in his mission to socialize much of our economy.

Clinton consistently protected Saddam Hussein, and in his refusal to accept bin-Laden from the Sudanese, allowed us to be attacked. The transfer of missile technology to the Chinese is another indication that for Clinton, America was the enemy.

Some of us on the right have seen the Clinton administration as a series of blunders, we may have used the word "failures" to describe what happened, but it's not that at all. If viewed in the context of the sixties' radical mindset, it was all DELIBERATE.

This is what we must understand as we move forward, in light of what we face with the possible ascension of Hillary to the Presidency.

bump!

Listen to this and ask yourself if America Ever Had the Remotest Chance Under a clinton to Avoid 9/11
(To paraphrase Einstein: "The unleashed power of terrorism has changed everything save our modes of thinking, and we thus drift toward unparalleled catastrophes.")
