Hollywood favorite Julia Roberts will retire from acting following her performance next year on Broadway.
The star of 'Pretty Woman' reportedly wants to spend all of her time with baby twins Phinneus and Hazel as they grow up.
'Juila is done with Hollywood and starring in a Broadway play is the perfect chance to make a graceful exit,' a close friend was quoted as saying.'
'She's been talking about leaving Los Angeles and stopping the movie roles ever since the twins were born last November.'
'She wants a change of scenery, a change of pace and a new challenge.'

Good movies usually come from good stories but in Hollywood they can even screw that up most of the time.
Here's one of her insightful witticisms:
"Republican comes in the dictionary just after reptile and just above repugnant".

BTW, my Webster's Pocket Dictionary shows Republican appearing between republic and repudiate. But nobody has accused Julia of being intelligent, so we'll forgive the poor dear!
I challenge you to show where I've trashed her. In fact, I was chastised for NOT trashing her in keeping with the general trend of the thread...you may offer an apology now.
I've seen her in a few interviews. Things where lines aren't written for you, or rehearsed. And where you only get one shot. This girl is a dingbat. Dumber than a bag of hammers.
Recently I was a participant in an event that received a lot of national attention. The interviews and subsequent quotes were edited, manipulated, and miscontextualized so many times that the quotes and reports really were no more than lies in my opinion.
The only ones who treated me/the story properly were 1 local TV news station, the Daily Show, and The National Inquirer.

She is going to spend the rest of her life trying to rebuild the lives of her kids, who will forever hate her for the hideous names that she gave them.
As for retirement, wish she announced this 15 years ago, would have eased my film watching suffering.

Well, you make a valid point. Shows the sorry state of the journalism today.
The woman is talking about staying at home to raise her own children, a cause all here supposedly champion, and this thread is filled with mostly insidious remarks on her looks. Which simply kills me as most who are typing them are probably two steps above needing serious plastic surgery while they sit behind the anonimity of their computers and feign movie star good looks. And as for those that actually post their pics here and then make those comments, I have to say, it's not exactly the bright idea you think it is.
