We seem to be watching a horror show of too thin Hollywood actresses. Or at least that would be the observation of anyone who even skims the tabloids, talk shows or People Magazine...

She's kind of an Italian/Cajun mix, isn't she? There would be something from each of those groupings on my "last meal" tray.
I don't think you have to. Not playing the game may make the search longer, but the prize at the end is better. Don't give up -- there are a lot of terrific guys out there.
The wife and I know a well-known authoress. She was told that, for the photo for the back of her books, that she would have to 'lose twenty pounds' before the photographer would take her picture. For an author??
Women look for $$$ attraction....men look for "other" attractions in their mates.......LOL
Rare jewels, those. :o)
I like her accent.
Seriously though,
A lot of it has to do with security and dependence Even having your own bank account and life.
Yeah, you'll put up with a lot if you're stuck, or afraid of leaving or searching for better....demanding and expecting more.
And if you're a woman, you catch hell for thinking that way! (I did) I mean, you should be grateful and take what you can get...dependable. What a crock.
If your a guy, that's just 'nature'.
At least till she sings! She does have a great voice. Who are the PR peeps who seem to morph every star, actor, personality, etc, into a stamped out Barbie doll look? Now even the guys are going that way, with a metrosexual twist. *sigh* I was surprised to see (and I don't usually watch it) Carson Daly? Uber tanned, way too thin, I didn't recognize him and wondered who had a show after Conan. 'Thin' is healthy, but everybody just looks emaciated.
Obsessing with weight can cause an early death, something we witnessed here on FR. A FReeper recently died as a result from gastric bypass surgery. This Freeper always seemed so mad and was particularly venomous regarding tall, thin women, like Princess Diana and Ann Coulter. I never understood why she hated them so much, then a family member of hers posted that she died after gastric bypass. Sure explained the hatred and venom aimed at slim, pretty women. So sad. Had she sought the help of a therapist instead of a surgeon, she might still be alive.
I hope she told that photographer to go fornicate with himself.
Hee hee. Hey, are you going to let that misplaced "whose" in an earlier post to this thread go by?
I used to think the same thing.... then I looked at it from an evolutionary standpoint.
What do men want?
Now let's look at what women like:
I no longer fault women for looking for material success -- it's all about the evolution. I also ask not to be faulted for looking for a hotty. :o)
She would be more appealing if she would tone it down a bit and not act like she need Ritalin.
Now, if she had a Southern accent, she'd be almost perfect.
:P
See my post #132.
LOL, we'll never bridge THAT gap.
My whole world/career is about food, weight, sanity etc.
GBP is very risky. I don't recommend it, but I've seen cases where it was one foot in the grave and no other choice. But there are so many mental factors that go in with weight issues that they can't be ignored.
As for me, I'm not skinny, nor am I obese. The best thing I ever did was get rid of the scales and just not worry anymore. Boy! Talk about all the free time I have now! :)
Go here and see why it's not all bad.
