Ex-president Bill Clinton now says he would have taken out Osama bin Laden before the 9/11 attacks if only the FBI and CIA had been able to prove the al-Qaida mastermind was behind the attack on the U.S.S. Cole.
"I desperately wish that I had been president when the FBI and CIA finally confirmed, officially, that bin Laden was responsible for the attack on the U.S.S. Cole," Clinton tells New York magazine this week. "Then we could have launched an attack on Afghanistan early."
"I dont know if it would have prevented 9/11," he added. "But it certainly would have complicated it.
Despite his failure to launch such an attack, Clinton said he saw the danger posed by bin Laden much more clearly than did President Bush.
"I always thought that bin Laden was a bigger threat than the Bush administration did," he told New York magazine.
what a great quote. hannity plays the full tape often. i'm sure we will hear it again after this latest self denial. oh and lets not forget , mr. ijaz who tried to broker the deal for bin ladin. i'm beginning to think weldon is on to something. also when hannity played it for lehman (a member of the commision ), he clamied it was the firt time he heard it.
"The Hillary documentary is coming -- INDICTING HILLARY"
When?
William Jefferson Criminal, your backbone is as small as Monica's mouth.
ping
I bet Rich Lowry damn near has a stroke when he reads this!
You should have had a 'BARF ALERT WITH BLEEDING CHUNKS' warning in 72 point type with this headline.
The stinking lying pig - he just descended another level in the hell of his eternal reward.
He won't ever go away. He is the pervert brother-in-law who visits, empties the fridge, uses your car, and never leaves.
Man, is he delusional!!
Wasn't he offered Bin Laden on a platter by Our Friends The Saudis? And didn't he refuse to have anything to do with him? I'm sure I've read that somewhere authoritative.
LOL...............just LOL!
I might add:
What about OKC, Bill?
What about Ruby Ridge, Bill?
What about Waco, Bill?
Oh, wait, never mind those last two, those were attacks against the "real" terrorists. (off sarcasm)
And the Bush Family considers him a friend?
The more I read and learn about the Gorelick memo, the more I am becoming convinced that indictments are possible. However, I have no doubt that BJ's tracks are very well covered.
"Dear Lord, please allow me to live long enough that I can urniate on this man's grave. Amen."
I'm with you on that, brother.
SHUT UP Bill
You were too busy getting blown by Monica
Thanks for ping Howlin
We are hoping to have an initial version ready by Oct. 21 for the Liberty Film Festival in W. Hollywood. It will be a struggle to meet that date.
I wish ole Bin Ladin would come out with a video just laughing at Clinton...telling him he is a maroon!!!
Wasn't Clinton president when Bin Ladin delivered the fatwa?
"And the Bush Family considers him a friend?"
And what is the deal with this?????
Someone, anyone, please explain!!!!!!
Was the bombings of our Embassy's in Kenya and Tanzania not enough??? Wasn't the deaths of our men and women in uniform on the U.S.S Cole enough reason to act???
Clinton was offered OBL on a silver platter and he was too much of a chicken shit to make the case that a known Terrorist who declared war on us wasn't enough to make a case in the our Justice system, despite the fact that OBL had no business even being considered as a candidate for our justice system or any kind of Constitutional protection in this Country.
The plain truth about William Jefferson Clinton is this.... All of his life he chose the path of least resistance, the same path where every failed leader leaves his legacy, and the path of least resistance should be renamed in Bill Clinton's honor, he's earned it. No other President in our history has made every single decision while in office strictly based on politics and popular opinion Polls.
As I have said before... The legacy of Bill Clinton will begin and end on a blue dress, nothing else in his career compares
