Yeah. Like the segment of the healthcare system where they send party bosses to other parts of the world for treatment.
You have nothing bad to say about Hitler and Stalin either????
He reminded me of John Kerry in that way. A member of the pretentia.
Mr. Jorgensen,
Yes, I was astounded myself at the time, and I was inside the network. I can assure you, the story is 100% as it happened.
Peter Collins
Jennings is STILL dead? Migosh!
Has anyone checked the status of Generalissimo Franco lately?
Bullseye! Included in that membership would be the likes of Koffi Annan and Garrison Keillor. A list of 'pretentia' club members could be quite lengthy.
P.S., would Algore be the president?
Wow!. Very interesting. Thanks for posting.
Left-wing scum, sub-human? Hardly...Just not a lamb, like some, afraid to voice what they really think about people of PJ's ilk. One might say "people that make 'judgements' about others will be 'judged' themselves one day -- self righteous."
Mad because there has been such an outpouring of love and affection for the man both while he was ill and after he died? Whatever you think of Peter Jennings personally or his politics, there is no denying that he was loved and respected by millions of Americans.
I just couldn't stand his voice. It's silly, but it was like nails on a chalkboard for me. He was on a panel about four years ago in San Diego with Roger Hedgecock. It was so biased I got up and left. I'm surprised Roger didn't get up and leave. It was at a University and it was like they packed it with Lefties. What am I talking about, THEY DID pack it with lefties. Jennings was so smug. Did you guys also know he was really short? I saw him on the boardwalk in San Diego during the Republican Convention and almost fainted. His legs were disproportionate to his body. Think about it, has anyone actually SEEN his entire body during a report? Hmm? Now that I've spoken illy of the dead, I feel kinda bad.
And the Rosenbergs were loved and respected by millions of Americans. John Walker Lindh is loved and respected by millions of liberal Americans.
The only joy was that Jennings died with a Republican in the White House and Republicans controlling Congress.
No they weren't and no he isn't. In fact, these people are hated by just about everyone. I'm not saying they don't have their supporters. They do. But they certainly don't number in the millions.
The only joy was that Jennings died with a Republican in the White House and Republicans controlling Congress.
I don't think he even cared about this. He was probably more concerned that he would never be able to retire to his farm in Canada.
Drudge headline:
Jennings left $50M to kin
By HELEN PETERSON
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER [http://www.nydailynews.com]
Peter Jennings left a fortune worth more than $50 million to his wife and two children, according to the ABC News anchor's will, the Daily News has learned.
Jennings, 67, left the bulk of his estate in trust for his two children, Elizabeth, 25, and Christopher, 23, from his marriage to writer Kati Marton, according to the will, filed Wednesday in Manhattan Surrogate's Court.
*America really enriched Mr. Jennings.
