As you know, concerned private citizen Cindy Sheehan was one of the founders of Gold Star Families for Peace in January. Here's a link to their upcoming speaking schedule.
On September 10, Sheehan will be speaking at a protest of the Blue Angels.
The Blue Angels?
Yes. According to their flier they have a problem with "children" being "taught to idolize these 'gods of metal.'" That's because the "expensive war promotion air show" is a "recruiting gimmick at a time when the military is in desperate need of more of our kids to fight in Iraq." Plus, "real angels don't drop bombs."
I hope some more of her new friends show up so she doesn't have to fight her lonely crusade all alone ...

That that words and deeds can have consequences is a lesson that liberals never seem to learn. One (of the many) consequences that these useful fools overlook during their America-hating rants is that their histrionic performances will look much different through the lens of history.
Consider, dear friends, that Neville Chamberlain's deal with Hitler in 1938 and Jane Fonda's outright treason during the Viet Nam war are seen in a much more critical light now than they were when they were heralded as good news by the press.
Fonda will forever be "radioactive", and deservedly so.
My point?
A few years from now, those progressives, liberals, democrats, etc who chose to side against the United States and the free world will be indefatigably dogged by their America-hating stunts.
And here's where it gets better. With the blogosphere (including forums such as Free Republic), the internet, and alternative sources of news, the America-hater's words and deeds are now very well preserved and much more accessible.
Uh-oh, this is a tad longish. Short version...liberals are particulary bad at realistic consequence analysis - Just ask Neville and Jane.

This flyer you've referenced is for the Veterans for Peace organization, not Gold Star Mothers for Peace. Sheehan is scheduled as a guest speaker, and is not the organizer. Very deceptive of you to make the headline link of your post to GSMP and not VFP and to accuse her of being the ringleader.
To be deceptive I would have to be trying to deceive. I just found the link to the flier on their website and since Sheehan was booked as a speaker I posted it.
So, my bad.
I don't think this changes the point of the post, though. Sheehan chose to appear at this Blue Angels protest, and if the president is going to be there it's not apparent in the materials. Not a concerned private citizen, not a single-minded crusader.

I have lost family. Even family with whom I have had firm disagreements but I could NEVER see reacting like this.

In the begining I had a human reaction and thought her a dupe, now I have been educated enough to realize she is not only a willing participant but to see she did not and does not give a rodents posterior for her son.
She is a liar, her actions are disgusting to all who serve, her actions are a smear to the REAL gold star mothers who mourn children whose memory they do honor. Mothers who respect their sons and daughters because they died doing the right thing.
Sheehan is all pissy because for her because HER son did not obey HER and not go to war. HER son should have done what SHE wanted. Bush should have dropped out of the 2000 race and the 2004 race because Sheehan demanded it. IOW: ME ME ME ME ME. IOW: a NUT.

Even if the kids go "just to visit" (I bet the left is putting pressure for "just a visit") the PR agency will spin it into a major coup.

Talk radio and most blogs keep this story going for the opposite reasons. Unlike the MSM, the underground media illustrates a completely different angle to the "Mother Shitehan"(sp?)story. I'm not sure about FOX news.
