As you know, concerned private citizen Cindy Sheehan was one of the founders of Gold Star Families for Peace in January. Here's a link to their upcoming speaking schedule.
On September 10, Sheehan will be speaking at a protest of the Blue Angels.
The Blue Angels?
Yes. According to their flier they have a problem with "children" being "taught to idolize these 'gods of metal.'" That's because the "expensive war promotion air show" is a "recruiting gimmick at a time when the military is in desperate need of more of our kids to fight in Iraq." Plus, "real angels don't drop bombs."
I hope some more of her new friends show up so she doesn't have to fight her lonely crusade all alone ...
Too bad the Blue Angels ground crew can't line up at attention, walk up in formation, and then give ol' Cindy a well-deserved Navy pimpslap.

There are exactly the same number of "Peace and Justice" groups in Maine as there are communist front groups. Surprisingly, both sets of groups have the exact same members. What are the odds??

Not surprising.
I read an interesting site recently, and there was a woman named "Marsha Goldberg" (probably not her real name)
She talked at length about the militiary, the military-industrial complex, and what she referred to as "the Sex-Death-Object", or SDO.
It sounded like some feminazi who had way too many college physchology courses...she likened an airshow to the Nuremburg Rallies before WWII. She said that men designed aircraft and missles to resemble penises...and so on.
I am NOT making this up!!!! I wish I had kept a transcript. When I told this woman that my military unit had an SDO as part of the make up of the outfit, she nearly blew her top saying "See? There is your proof..."
I then had to tell her that SDO stood for Squadron Duty Officer...:)
Another poster wrote "Oh yeah. Designing our high performance equipment to resemble penises is so high on our priority list that we have to get that out in the job descriptions for our aeronautical engineers..."
I am not making this up. These people are completely unhinged. We have to fight back.
Blue Angels are awesome!!!! They come here every spring.
One year my kids got autographs on their caps.
How does Sheehan expect to be a guest speaker at this protest when she has to be maintaining this oh so important vigil of hers?

I sit by waiting for this lady's husband to have her brought in on a capias warrant. Speaking of her husband, are they still married? We hear that her husband's family is completely opposed to her politics and course of action, but is he still around? This is the kind of thing that would rip a marriage apart.
Besides #5 and #6 should get in so extra practice on strafing runs......to delight the arriving crowd.
