Christopher Walken Running For President

The Walken Platform

These are the issues that need solutions now, and Christopher Walken is not afraid to address them. He wants his supporters and opponents to know that he is clear in his ideals and will fight to lead America to a better place.

Campaign Finance Reform:

"I believe that campaign finance is a very tough issue, with good points on both sides; but I feel, as a wealthy american, that I should have no more say than even the least fortunate American citizen. That is why I am for campaign finance reform."

Military Funding:

"I am a huge supporter of the military. I have always thought of them as our guardians, and when our guardians are making less than the poverty line, and children are suffering because their parents decided to join the military, well, I get very upset. I feel that instead of sending billions to the Pentagon's pet projects, it should go to the troops."

Stem Cell Research:

"I'd met Chris Reeve several times before he died, and after having met him it is tough to be against it [stem cell research]. I am for human knowledge and expansion of human life. If stem cells are one way to do that, I need to be a good friend of stem cells."

We appreciate the great response you've sent us, interested in more information about Christopher Walken's policies and platform. Please have patience as he puts his ideas into words, and as soon as they're available, we'll put them here. Thank you for your support.

Two little mice fell in a bucket of cream. The first mouse quickly gave up and drowned. The second mouse, wouldn't quit. He struggled so hard that eventually he churned that cream into butter and crawled out. Gentlemen, as of this moment, I am that second mouse.

You watch those nature documentaries on the cable? You see the one about lions? You got this lion. He's the king of the jungle, huge mane out to here. He's laying under a tree, in the middle of Africa. He's so big, it's so hot. He doesn't want to move. Now the little lions come, they start messing with him. Biting his tail, biting his ears. He doesn't do anything. The lioness, she starts messing with him. Coming over, making trouble. Still nothing. Now the other animals, they notice this. They start to move in. The jackals; hyenas. They're barking at him, laughing at him. They nip his toes, and eat the food that's in his domain. They do this, then they get closer and closer, bolder and bolder. Till one day, that lion gets up and tears the shit out of everybody. Runs like the wind, eats everything in his path. Cause every once in a while, the lion has to show the jackals, who he is.

What's the chance of talking Pat Paulson out of running for President and taking the second position on Walken's ticket?

Pat's not listening, or talking much these days.

Date of Death: 04/24/1997, age 69
Cause of Death: Pneumonia (Hmmmm?)

Paulsen was the speaker the year of my graduation. I didn't bother going to the talk.

Wow, I would DIG having Christopher Walken as president! Nobody would ever know exactly what he was thinking. And he might scare the daylights out of foreign dignitaries.

We definitely need some new blood.. these canned politicians are getting bad.

Walken in 2008!

This is a joke, yes?

That's what they said about Reagan. Walken's no Reagan, though.

Maybe he's closer to Teddy K. Wasn't there something about him and Natalie Wood?

Then he'd be the ideal candidate for Vice President, assuming he is still dead in '08.

Chris...if Dr. Dean Demento can run and Hillary can conceive of running...and Pat Paulson and Ralph Nader can, well...then I guess so can you.

One the issues: 100% wrong.

What a laugh.

I can see alot of humorous advantages to having Walken as President. I crack up just thinking about him talking to the press, the UN, Congress, State of the Union, et in character.

Maybe he should stick to SNL skits?

Okay, I'll explain.

A radio show had as guest an impressionist, and Walken is one of his most popular impersonations.

Every response he made (as Walken) was twisted, creepy, and had nothing to do with the question. Sounded exactly like Walken would talk.

"Mr. Walken, what do you think of your latest film role?"

"As we all know, Picasso......was a HACK!"

"Who do you think will win the Super Bowl?"

"Frankenstein never scared me. Marsupials do. Because they're FAST!"

The comedian got lots of fan mail for his performance, and even some notoriety. His fans know the marsupial bit by heart, just like FReepers know about "All your Base" or Mooses who bite their relatives.

BTW, I heard Walken himself interviewed and he sounded pretty lucid to me. (I don't know his politics)
