Who is/was the WORST U.S. PRESIDENT EVER? Carter? Clinton? Make your choice and state your reasons.

The KKK man Woodrow Wilson giving us the Federal Reserve (as a result gave us the great depression thus helped spawn WWII.) Or Carter that single-handedly made a hot spot in the Middle East into an all out war which shows no end in sight. That is a tough one for second place.

Carter strengthened and emboldened nations that hate first! If not for Carter's promotion of the Ayatollahs the islamic threat would have been much smaller;it is doubtful we would have gotten into Bosnia or Somalia. We might still have the Canal unless subsequent Presidents were also fools.

Carter remains the worst of modern times.(And if Cartuh was President in WW2 we would be using Deutsch not English,the man was inept and stubborn,a deadly combination.

Another tough calls there. A man that chose to kill of 5% of the US population over a legal and just separation of States, with very serious ramifications that still carries on today.

No kidding, especially when you look into Lincoln's record, and see the abuses his administration carried out, particularly in realms such as Habeas Corpus.

Lincoln's silence about the crimes of Sherman was also deafening, and what Sherman did, he basically legitamized war crimes as acceptable strategy for military tactics.

I think I would select the toon - he was in office longer. We may not really know how much damage he did for several years down the road.

Jimmah seems to have gotten worse - his mouth, anyway. It would be hard to say which was more responsible for the current state of terror. It started under Carter, but grew substantially under the toon.

Both daughters are two-sackers.
