I think this is the story about 9/11 that has never really been told to most people. And the libmedia isn't going to besmirch the imaginary Clinton legacy and Hillary's chances in '08 by bringing it up.

Rep. Curt Weldon said today on Fox News that there are 15 unexamined boxes of documents(!), and now 11 witnesses(!!), (NOT just 1), who are willing to testify under oath.

He also is calling for 9/11 Staffers to be questioned under oath re: their evident negligence, &/or close-mindedness, &/or cover-up behavior, and/or stonewalling.

the excuse is they were told "after the report"

I just saw on another thread that the naval officer wasn't "sufficiently credible." Didn't they ever hear that a good liar chooses one story and sticks to it?

Whoa! Just a minute there, pardner. As I remember, McCarthy was proven right. So why are you accusing him of "running the country"?

As a matter of fact, McCarthy never realized how many Commies there actually were in government, media, and education.

As the John's Committe in Florida said of the Florida university system "it's full of Commies and queers".

Neither McCarthy nor the John's Committee understood the breadth and depth of Comminism in America.

I've read Treason, while a good read, Coulter's polemics are too severe. She is more right than wrong, but she is still the exception to the rule.

What I'm trying to say: You understand how liberals and many moderates view the historic place of McCarthyism. Ann's book is an exception to the rule when it comes to the popularly held understanding of the MCCarthy Commission. We'd agree it can be called visceral disdain, institutional bias, or any other negative descriptions.

If the 9/11 commission doesn't get out ahead of this, it too will be remembered with the same disdain, hatred, mistrust as the McCarthy HUAAC.

I want to know the unadulterated truth, I want the Republicans to step up and demand the unadulterated truth, the country requires the truth and trust in the 9/11 commission.

If the 9/11 commission is known to be wrong, but the media refuses to cover the story, how is that any different then the media knowing that McCarthy was correct and refusing to cover it in that era?

I do not want to see the 9/11 commission reduced to the level of another joke equal to the Magic Bullet theory of the Warren commission. Nor to the Government Demopublican duopoly CYA conspiracy level.

Right now, it's heading that way quickly. And with political animals like Kean and Ben Veniste on the commission, decisive action to maintain the long term reputation of the committee could and probably will fast fade away.

I didn't choose my screen name because of messes around the White House sinks... Sandy, Jamie, Janet, and Hillary must be prosecuted along with Billy Jeff for political opportunism that led to 9/11.

There never going to be prosecuted, but we at least have to keep that witch out of the White House.

Um, Idaho was Bush I. :-(

But Clinton scored more points for bodies, hardware and pyrotechnics in Waco.

One thing this brings into view was that it appears that the national security inadequacies were not so much a problem of bad intel (seems like at least Able Danger was doing its job), but of bad policy decisions by the administration.

That's majorly significant: the question now is did the Clinton policy as memorialized by Jamie Gorelick put us in a place we wanted to be, or a place we didn't want to be?

The answer is clear, but will come with great reluctance from some.

I'm aok - a quiet eve at home in Las Vegas. My galpal in LA postponed a visit to LV this weekend (she'll come next weekend). My friend Jenny and her posse are in LV for the weekend and invited me to a 10pm dinner at Cesar's Palace somewhere, but that's too late for a local like me. I'll see them tomorrow afternoon.

So I am enjoying one of my rare cigars, doing some work on my business, and checking FR every few minutes! :-)

It's a busy night. My modem was out for two days. Coming here tonight is like stepping into a nightmare, with the Clintons back in all their glory (Or should that be gory?).

It's too late EDT, see ya later. |-)

"LOOK ONLY AT SHEEHAN!!!! "

Yes. A hurricane had divided a city on racial lines. Jackson, Sharpton and West made their racist claims and it's no big deal or rightful to do so. Bush as the racist can be perpetrated throughout the MSM, but the fact that Sheehan made anti-Semetic comments is not even reported.

bill Clinton is suddenly going around saying how much he did against terrorism. Of course he is lying, but he is aware these reports are out there. He also is confident I am sure that the media will keep this under cover, but he is putting out his propaganda just in case.
