This coming Saturday, August 11th, I will address the Coalition for Redevelopment Reform in San Jose concerning our efforts to restore the private property rights of Californians through the Homeowner and Property Protection Act (SCA 15). I look forward to meeting fellow advocates of curbing eminent domain abuse and strengthening the support base for SCA 15.
Nothing would send a louder message of the strength of our effort than citizens demanding that government return to its natural role as the defender of our property rights. The meeting is open to the public and I urge you to join me on Saturday as we press on to shield California from the disastrous impact of the Kelo decision.
The event will be held at 72 North 5th Street in San Jose from 1:30PM 3:30PM. An RSVP to 408-817-5678 would be greatly appreciated.
If you are unable to attend, I would like to encourage you to visit the Property Rights Internet Headquarters at tommcclintock.com, where we will post my remarks at the event. There you can also find the latest news and obtain contact information for those members of the Legislature who have not yet agreed to co-author the Homeowner and Property Protection Act( SCA 15).
Finally, you can help our efforts enormously by forwarding this message to your friends and family, urging them to attend the Coalition for Redevelopment Reform meeting if they live in the area and encouraging them to become E-Team members. I am profoundly honored to have your continued support and I look forward to seeing many of you in San Jose.
Best Regards,
Tom McClintock
Wow, this is the first I heard of McClintock coming to San Jose.

California is the closest thing America has to a soviet socialist republic, with large gobs of fascist land control thrown in.
California citizens need a revolution.
hmmm... I might actually be able to make it. I'll check with my boss, er... I mean wife.
California citizens need a revulsion.
Go Tom, Go!
Isn't Saturday the 13th?

(Please freepmail me if you want on or off this list)
BTTT for Tom McClintock (the man who SHOULD have been Governor).
Like Prop 13, it has to revolve around a pocketbook issue to bring in the blue voting counties to a greater degree. Some of those people still call it "Preparation 13," instead of Prop 13. (as in Preparation H)
Oh! Grampa Dave... Let me introduce you to sergeantdave. You two seem to share many opinions according to my observations. Maybe you already know each other?
I don't know, Carry_Okie... Should I have introduced those two? They're both superb ranters, y'know...
Wull... At least it ain't Friday the 13th!!!
Hello SierraWasp;Carry_Okie;Grampa Dave,
Just got back from a gun and rod show. Was looking for a good shotgun, and you know what - people charge the same price for weaponry as they do in California, and you guys make a whole bunch more money than we do for the same work.
Anyway, please make less money so I don't need to pay out $875 for the shotgun I want.
Other than that, the Oregon flat peas are coming out in the garden, and if you're interested in buying any they're $27.50 a pound for you California guys. Plus I'll throw in a half pound of radishes.
Thank you.
I want me a "steetsweeper!" (just kidding... I think)
C'mon now... you Michiganders will blame us Cauleeforneeuns for just about any ol thing that you don't like!!! What'sa madder with you guys. Next thing you'll be speculatin in tulip bulbs and blamin us for the disasterous outcome!!! (grin)(I know about Holland, Michigan just to you're south)
Hey! What's your postal abbreviation? MI? MN? No that's Minnesota and the first one's Mississippinyoureye, right?
MI is Michigan. I have a good friend in the UP.
