FREEPERS, demand equal time for Proud Mothers!
08/12/05 | Dionysius

My good and loyal friends At FR, The MSM is covering the embarrasment that is Cindy Sheehan and her whacko friends with Michael Jackson-like zeal, ignoring or lightly dismissing the anguished counter voices of mothers and relatives (including Cindy's own) begging her to stop the dishonor she is paying not only to her son, but every fallen hero in Iraq and Afghanistan. Therefore I exhort every Freeper whom has the ability, especially those in and around the major media centers (NY, DC, Atlanta & LA) to organize formal protests and picket lines outside their headquarters demanding EQUAL TIME FOR PROUD MOTHERS! Free Republic is an amazing tool for getting out the message of the true mainstream. Let's make this an organized effort. I will do what I can in St. Louis, but the major, national media must be brought to task in the publc eye. This is my first attempt at a thread, so I want to use this opportunity to thank all of you for every insight, encouragement and laugh you have given me. Dionysius

And remember this:

Despite the fact that Cindy Sheehan and an entourage of 50 rolled into town in a bus with the words “Impeachment Tour” emblazoned upon it – fresh from attending a Veterans for Peace convention, no less – the Bush administration has not given this odd woman an icy reception. National Security Adviser Steve Hadley and Deputy White House Chief of Staff Joe Hagin spoke with Sheehan for 45 minutes.

Demanding time is unnecessary and demeaning. Get the mothers to set up a counter-protest to Sheehan's down there in Crawford, then the press will have to cover them, and it'll be clear that proud mother outnumber weak ones by at least 100-to-1.

you are right on....if Gold Star Mother's with an opposite view of Sheehan's voice their opinion in public and receive a fraction of the MSM coverage, then it is time to go nuts...

The left's tactics should also be used against the left.

Retired Americans should camp out in front of the homes of Clinton, Boxer, Feinstein, Pelosi, Kennedy, and the Supreme Court justices who okay Roe v Wade with signs saying...

STOP KILLING OUR GRANDCHILDREN!

By all means..wave the flag for your son's..but not one mention of that woman's name should be uttered.

If you encounter her..turn your back on her.

Or better yet..don't go and lower yourself to her level of politicizing her son's death.

If she cared about her son she would shut up and go home.

We need equal time for Able Danger. That woman is keeping the real news off the air.
