I don't think Casey Sheehan's reputation is in any danger with his "Band of Brothers"...with absolutely no disrepect to his blood brother. The vets out there know what I mean.
If we could get one or more of the conservative talk show hosts over there...it might well happen. That would be a GREAT idea. Reading those letters to MILLIONS before handing them to her.

Yes, she is still arguing with Casey and trying to have the last word. I'm glad others in her family aren't going to let that happen and have spoken out against her. I wish his grandparents and others in his family who were close to him could get on television and continue to rebut his noxious, moonbat (and quite stupid, it must be said) mother.
You got that right! She's been dodging her own family's attempts to talk some sense into her; she'll only listen to the Animal House Party's hate brigade.
His memory is indeed safe with his patriotic, brothers and sisters who serve, who have served, or who support those who do serve. But it remains a shameful, disgraceful spectacle that serves to sully that very memory amongst others. I pray it will soon stop...and that efforts like this small letter of mine will serve to help his memory amongst those others.
And a good ass kicking wouldn't be out of line either.
The message goes straight to the issue - regarding the disagreement with her son. That disagreement has created a pathetically sick creature who has been trapped by left wing groups for their ends.
I heard her this morning on NPR and she made a point of referring to her son and his desire to serve. She says that "he was against the war" but felt "a duty to go to Iraq and serve with his friends."
I know - sounds fake. Anyone who is against the war would not be going over...and for the second time which she neglected to mention.
This woman is a sick charlatan.
With a mother like her, I wonder how he enlisted at all.

As one poster on this thread wisely pointed out, probably as a result of his grandfather, this woman's father. She is now fighting the truth that is exemplified by them both and is miserable, because her son's statement, with his very life, will forever trump her pathetic rantings to the contrary...and she knows it.
Yet she continues to kick her feet against those pricks...inflicting more and more pain to her mind, body and soul. And it shows.
His grandfather and grand mother is my bet. They instilled enough of the good in him...and he took to it...to overcome his mother's antics.
I pray the truth sometimes gets through to her heart and humbles her. If it does, she is likely to have a complete breakdown in realizing what shame she has wrought. But that would be a natural part of the repentence and atonement process...from which, she might yet come out a whole person. Short of that, she is going to continue down hill at a steeper and steeper rate.
Interesting take. I'll guarantee you that she'll be in a "Mikael Moore" movie at some point as well.
Great letter....almost the same as her families statement regarding her political agenda vs any concern for her son or his memory, sacrifice to a grateful nation etc . She's burning trash that we keep throwing gasoline on IMHO......Do we let it go out or do we get "Moore" flames that warm the seditious sheeple ? I don't have the proper approach to the issue maybe but I see her story as a MSM propaganda product vs anything to take seriously.
