An Open letter to Cindy Sheehan

Regarding your protest outside of Crawford, Texas, and your many statements regarding the death of your son, Casey, and against the war in Iraq, where your son was fighting for his country and died in that war, I have this to say to you.

Yours is the most despicable, shameless, disgusting spectacle I have ever seen from any mother. Do you not care that you are shaming and sullying the memory of your brave, patriotic son? After reading about your "protest" and your long history against the war in Iraq and this President, it is clear to me, and, I believe, to any other objective, reasoned individual, that you are clearly doing this to your son's memory for you own purely anti-American political purposes and for your own stage.

Casey volunteered, Ms. Sheehan, and according to other members of the family, knew exactly what he was about in his service to his nation. My guess is that, because of your activities, there must have been some fairly significant disagreement between the two of you regarding the same.

Now you are using his loyal service and HIS DEATH...to promote causes which he showed by his own service and sacrifice that he stood four square against, and was willing to die fighting against.

How utterly disgusting, and how disrespectful to Casey's memory and all he stood for, how terribly selfish of you.

It is really Casey whom you are fighting Ms Sheenan, isn't it? It is the statement he made with his service and with his life, and his willingness, all of your protests and carryings on notwithstanding, to fight for his nation against enemies he clearly saw, that you are really railing against.

How pathetic of you. Shame on you...how could you?

You are apparently so self-indulgent that you do not care the spectacle you are making of your own son's death, or the disservice or disrespect you do to his memory, to his wishes and goals and to his service to all of us...including yourself.

Please, for Casey's sake, and his memory...for all he believed in...ask his forgiveness and step back from this sorry, awful spectacle you are making.

I pray, and am absolutely sure that God will rest his soul...and I pray that He will have mercy on yours.

Thank you my friend. Our Idaho guard (and several close friends) passed through there last year. They will be coming home sometime around Christmas or thereafter. Thanks for your service to them.

Cindy Sheehan and her activities are now the pster child of Al Jeezera and Irqi insurgent sites. The vry people who killed her son are the ones promoting her activities. So very sad...so very sick.

The public schools, which in many areas have been absolutely taken over by the NEA and their anti-American agendas, have turned out a lot of people over the last decades wholly deficient in knowledge about this nation and the ideals and foundational principles that make it great.

But many are offset in those teachings by parents who know better (I know that is what we did), and many others come to their senses once they get out into life and have to start earning a living and realize, on their own, what the principles are.

The issue here, with Cindy Sheehan, is that her son, raised in her house (which she admits was leftists, anti-Bus, anti-war from the get go, somehow (and I believe the grandparents figured in here) discovered we have real enemies and joined the military and the re-upped and went to Iraq to do his part. He then volunteered for a combat mission he did not have to go on, and was killed. He made these decisions...and it galls Cindy Sheehan to her soul that he did, despite her upbringing.

She is wrestling with demons of her own creation and has allowed, IMHO< her grief to turn to hate (just read her own words) and it is eating her up.

Very sad...but also very dangerous because she is being used by the enemies of this country to provide aid and comfoprt to those enemeis. The result will be that more American sons die.

Even if we ignore the borderline-treasonous, borderline-seditionist comments this woman has made over the last few months (most of which have failed to be covered by the left-leaning media), it is the fact that she is betraying her own son that angers me even more.

This is a flyer that was distributed to everyone who attended a rally at San Francisco State University several months ago, where she gave an address:

She is an American mother (both 'American' and 'mother' should be contained in quotes, because it is questionable whether she is deserving of either esteemed label) of a slain American soldier, who believed so much in the American military that he re-enlisted. Yet she is now attending, and speaking at, meetings that are recruiting Americans to support the very barbarians who slaughtered her duty-bound son.

I pray, and am absolutely sure that God will rest his soul...and I pray that He will have mercy on yours.

By now unless you have not read the recent articles you know that Ms. Sheehan is ethically challenged. Her recent rantings do not jive with her visit with Bush. In short she has lied. She is obviously a tool of the Enemy. Democrats on the Far Left are 60s leftovers. They did not get their Man elected to the White House and have not stopped throwing a temper tantrum since then. Not long after we heard charges the election was fixed. More Moonbat insanity. Specialist Casey Sheehan reenlisted. Volunteered to join the US Army and knew the risks. He was a Patriotic young Man and a credit to his family. That her husband has filed for Divorce shows Ms. Sheehan is an Attention Whore.

Sorry to be this cruel but it is all about her. What she wants not honoring her Son's memory and grieving in private.
When confronted by another Parent who lost a son she hung up on him and said "I can't hear you". How juvenile and yet how typical of the Far Left. Her latest remarks are Al-Queda and Hamas talking points.

With the discovery of a WMD lab in operation in Mosul with perhaps many more. The last piece of the puzzle and justification for the war has fallen into place. That the MSM is shamelessly pandering to this Quisling Moonbat simply shows which side they are on. The side of those who have beheaded Iraqi Women in Fallujah, bombed Islamic Mosques in Karbala, blew up Iraqi children. Ms. Sheehan is a disgrace.

She is not being called names for disagreeing with the war...she is being taken to task for the manner in whcih she is going aboout it and the particular things she is saying, both about this President and about the war in general.

I never agreed with the WMD issue as a pretext, we had plenty of pretext without that based on Hussein's abject violation of the cease fir agreements he had signed with us after the Gulf War. In addition, his ties to terror were and are clear, and his slaughter of his own people was also clear.

Mrs. Sheehan is indicating that the war was unjust, that the President killed her son, that the war is only for oil, that the war is also being waged ion behalf of Israel and that the insurgents are worthy of our support. She has also flatly indicated that this nation is not worth dieing for. All of that goes beyond "just disagreeing" with the war effort. She is in fact, giving aid and comfort to the enemy who is embolden because those talking point are their talking points (and that of the far left) and therefore they will fight harder and kill more Americans.

I pray that they see the fact that the vast majority of Americans support what is happening and that the enemy becomes more demoralized as opposed to demoralizing our own forces. There's a very basic issue and difference there. If you and your ilk cannot see it...I feel sorry for you but am determined to HAMMER home that point over and over again and make sure our troops receive the support they need and deserve.

Thanks...see my reply in post 194 to a liberal disruptor who appeared on this thread and indicated that because we took issue with Cindy and the disgusting things she is saying, and are therefore calling a spade a spade, that we somehow werre unAmerican oursleves and not supporting Freedom of Speech.

We cannot allow these people to use such despicable tactics to destroy the moral of our troops and the knowledge about the good they are doing in Iraq.
