You would think the cops could throw down more than a few ounces.

I'm telling you that if some hooded Muslim terrorist lookalike cop comes busting through my door this old Okiedoc is going for a gun, knife or maybe some toilet paper.

Utter stupidity, incompetence, and lack of investigation by lazy-ass showboating SWAT team. Perhaps they were facing budget cuts and needed to put on a show.

The police should be going after real drug dealers. Not kids living with mom, selling nickle bags to friends. I think the cops are too chicken shit to go after the big drug dealers selling meth, crack, coke and heroin

So...if you own a gun and do the right thing and register that gun, you are more likely to be murdered by the police?

Well I guess the guy wasn't completely innocent, he had 2 ounces of wacky tabaccy! He had to die!

No way in hell does somebody pull a gun over 2 ounces of weed, unless he's scared for his life. Any money it's a drop gun. Just wait, we'll soon be hearing that the gun either had no serial number or had been used in some crime.

"Police seized 2 ounces of marijuana at the home of Anthony Diotaiuto after shooting him 10 times, according to information on the drug raid released Tuesday."

Well, there's two ounces of demon-weed that won't be causing death, addiction, destruction and...

Oh, wait...

The hapless Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) and his prospective father-in-law Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro) are driving to the nearest town for groceries. They sit in silence, as Jack slips on a tape of Puff The Magic Dragon. Tapping his fingers to the music, he turns to his passenger.

"You like this, Greg?"

Greg nods enthusiastically.

"Yes, I do. Yes I do. Big fan."

Softly, Jack begins to sing along. He beams contentedly.

Greg joins in, then stops self-consciously.

"Great song."

"Yeah," Jack grins. "One of my favourites."

"Hey, what about those people who thought this was really about a dragon?"

Jack turns, confused.

"What do you mean?"

A look of panic flashes across Greg's face.

"Oh, you know... the whole smoking thing?"

"No, Greg, I don't. I don't know. Why don't you tell me?"

"Ah... some people, ah... think that to... um, 'puff the magic dragon' really means to smoke a... um, marijuana cigarette."

Jack is baffled.

"But Puff's just the name of the boy's magical dragon..."

"Right. Right."

They drive on in silence. Jack suddenly turns to Greg, suspicion in his voice.

"Are you a pothead, Focker?"

Really stupid. If he only had 2 ounces of marijuana why in the world did he go for a gun. Sounds as though his brain had absorbed too much weed smoke.

This whole thing smacks of shoddy, incompetent and possibly malicious police work. If the Sunrise storm troopers (err, "cops") had the place under surveillance as they claim, and had made a "controlled buy" from the house, they no doubt already knew that their victim had been working two jobs, and they could have easily arranged for a traffic stop, faux "sobriety checkpoint", and he could have been detained, restrained, and his house searched.

No, it looks more like the Sunrise SWAT team was looking for a little excitement, a little "boom boom" to start their day, my only remaining question is:

Did the cops who killed this guy get their coffee and donuts BEFORE the state-sanctioned homicide, or AFTER?

The claim: "announc[ed] their presence" before smashing in his door

Depends on how well sound insulated the doors and walls are, and what's happening inside the house, that could be about as good as "MMMMFMMFMFMMFMMMMMMFFFFMMMFFF"!

There should be a second announcement once the door is busted open. I don't see one mentioned.

""Nothing adds up," Brian Kickbush, Whittier's boyfriend, said during the visitation at Fred Hunter Funeral Home. "If they announced themselves, I guess all the neighbors are all liars.""

Ah I get it. They whispered: 'Police'
