FAMILY OF FALLEN SOLDIER PLEADS: PLEASE STOP, CINDY! Thu Aug 11 2005 12:56:21 ET
The family of American soldier Casey Sheehan, who was killed in Iraq on April 4, 2004, has broken its silence and spoken out against his mother Cindy Sheehan's anti-war vigil against George Bush held outside the president's Crawford, Texas ranch.
The following email was received by the DRUDGE REPORT from Casey's aunt and godmother:
Our family has been so distressed by the recent activities of Cindy we are breaking our silence and we have collectively written a statement for release. Feel free to distribute it as you wish. Thanks Ð Cherie
In response to questions regarding the Cindy Sheehan/Crawford Texas issue: Sheehan Family Statement:
The Sheehan Family lost our beloved Casey in the Iraq War and we have been silently, respectfully grieving. We do not agree with the political motivations and publicity tactics of Cindy Sheehan. She now appears to be promoting her own personal agenda and notoriety at the the expense of her son's good name and reputation. The rest of the Sheehan Family supports the troops, our country, and our President, silently, with prayer and respect.
Sincerely,
Casey Sheehan's grandparents, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
Developing..
God bless them...and God comfort them that in their grief they had to come forward and even make such a statement. What this woman is doing is one of the most shameful, dusgusting spectacles I have ever witnessed.
This Cindy woman is a real trip.
Whine whine whine all the time.
Me me me all the time.
You know what? Every single thing we've ever suspected about them, no matter how horrible we could imagine, is true.
I'm convinced of it.
Here is the link to the PayPal thread. It seems they raised over $30,000, not $18,000 as I said in my last post.

No.
I want Cindy Sheehan to get maximum possible exposure.
She's going Moonbat Mad, and I want the world to see -- again -- just what the left is all about.
I expect her to be caught aiding Al Qaeda in the future.
That's part of the message that I wrote in a Letter to the Editor of the Baltimore Sun last night. Today I got a call, in which the Sun made sure that I had written it. They said that they will look for a place to publish it.
I've had that kind of call before, and about half of the time they have published it.
My main messages were that President Bush had already met with her - a fact that the Sun neglected to mention in their editorial demanding that Bush meet with her - and that there was nothing to be gained by meeting with her, since she's tied herself with Michael Moore and is now spouting anti-Semitic crap, i.e. "My son didn't enlist to die for the Israelis."
A bummer. You gotta wonder how in the heck did their hate get to the point of deliberately destroying long-time friendships? I lost a relative/friend after the 2000 election the same way. We have not communicated since that time although I did want to send a little card "Bush is still the President" last November. :o) Of course the fact that she was a student at the U of Chicago during the 60's should have warned me but I never expected such a rage.
Sorry about your friend.

Cindy Sheehan's HATE BUSHfest is just another campaign to trash the president and stop the war (as if these people have a clue about why we are at war).

No kidding
The same ones that backed Dean during the Primary and now backing Sheehan
To be fair, if someone in my family is going to call me out like that, I'd like to see names. Otherwise, I simply wouldn't trust it. Does anyone have the names of these people, other than the one who acknowledged writing it?
Is it for her living expenses?
That point is moot; she knows who sent it.

No. All available data indicates that Cindy is overly absorbed with herself.
You would think that with such a bad economy, the DUmmies wouldn't have so much money to waste on useless projects.
Cindy Sheehan's HATE BUSHfest is the latest attack on President Bush by the anti-war group run by MoveOn.org/Fenton Communications.

According to MoveOn.org spokesman Trevor Fitzgibbon, the anti-Bush 527 plans to run $3.2 million worth of ads during the week's Republican National Convention in battleground states.
