I am so darned ticked off!

Posted on 08/10/2005 10:25:47 PM PDT by foobeca

I don't know about anyone else, but I am so ticked off.

Bush Pork: Farm bill Ted Kennedy no child's behind left alone bill Grandpa's viagra bill Transportation bill Oil industry welfare bill

Bush is making slick willy look spendthrift. I almost wish I had derslickmeister as president again.

Bush refuses to enforce immigration laws. Why have a fricken "war on terror" if you aren't going to enforce your border? Why go looking for terrorists around the world when they are free to walk over the southern border with nukes, bio weapons, chem weapons, bombs, etc?

Hell, pretty soon we're going to stop seeing signs that say se habla espanol and see signs that say we speaka da inglish. I'm getting so sick of hearing espanol everywhere I go. I'm getting sick of educating, feeding, and medicating them and their kids.

Why are we obsessed with being PC and so concerned about making the people who are blowing us up mad? Why are we pussyfooting around in Iraq? We can't shoot at the enemy until fired upon? Let the Marines do their job and kick some *** !!! Let's make club gitmo more like abu graib!

Why aren't we drilling CA, FL, and ANWAR?? The hell with the enviro-wackos!! Dammit, I'm now paying $50 to fill up my Nissan Maxima!! I don't drive an SUV, but a mid-size sedan and I'm paying up the ying yang.

Let's talk about inflation!! Officially, inflation is like 2%. What a load of B.S., Barbara Streisand. Yeah, house prices go up 20%/year, oil prices go up 40% in a year, food prices up prolly 10%, other commodity prices are up in the double digits, and we have only 2% inflation?

We have what looks to be a strong economy, but it's all a mirage built up by inflating the economy with low interest rates. No doubt about it, the recovery is built on massive construction spending, mortgage refinancing, HELOCs driving up consumption.

People load themselves to the hilt when buying a house they can't afford. If the house does appreciate a little, they'll do a HELOC and go out and buy a couple of SUV's (Stupid Urban Vehicles), buy a plasma TV, and then go on vacation.

People wouldn't be able to "afford" the houses they're "buying" (renting from the bank) without the creative financing and artificially low interest rates. Interest only loans, and Option ARMs are rediculous. What happens when those arms adjust to 7%? You'll have your mortgage payment go up by 50% causing massive foreclosures.

The more this housing bubble is allowed to expand the worse the correction will be. If you want to avoid a hangover, you have to keep drinking. The more you drink, the worse the hangover will be.

We're coddling terrorists at club gitmo and elsewhere. When are we going to go after our real enemies-Iran, Kim Jong mentally Ill, and Syria?

This country is comitting suicide!! Both the govt. and individuals are spending themselves into oblivion. We let ourselves be invaded so we can have cheap lettice.

a republic, if you can keep it.

"Why go looking for terrorists around the world when they are free to walk over the southern border with nukes, bio weapons, chem weapons, bombs, etc?"

Let's all curl into a fetal position then and play dead.

Is anyone else here not livid about what's going on in DC? What's the point in me putting time and money into electing republicans when they turn around and stab us in the back? I want a party that will cut spending, enforce our borders, lower my taxes, defend my freedoms, go after the terrorists and other enemies of this country, and protect the unborn.

And I bet he can't fit a 50+ inch plasma TV in that thing either.

You don't deserve a Zot. It is frustrating how our boarders aren't controlled.

Weird.

Feel better now? You make some good points about excessive spending and border security. Things aren't quite as bad as you say.
