Boxer fears a more conservative court could lead "to the days of back alley illegal abortions. So... If we cant stop bank robberies, we should legalize them???
To: Bahbah
"What is it with this obsession with abortion?"
What is it with the obsession of saying they are pro-choice and the right is pro life?
Everyone is pro-choice. We choose life and they choose death.
That's the talking point we need to get across to the nation.

"I need to know exactly where he stands and I need to know whether he would fight to protect the rights and freedoms of the American people," said Boxer, D-Calif. "If I don't believe he will, I won't vote for him." Babs is so lame. Judges don't "fight." They arrive at conclusions, interpret, apply logic and reasoning, etc., but they don't fight. Now, politicians on the other hand.... :)

Boxer is not a well person. She's speaking like some street-bully, not like a US Congressperson. I wonder if she actually listens to her sound bites?
And we ask the Afghanis and the Iraqis look at the USofA and see how demoncracy works?
A box of rocks would be better than a Boxer with rocks for brains.

She reads DU, and basks in their praise for "standing up for us".
As many posters have said, like she was going to vote for Roberts confirmation anyway! Why, what a brave little demorat warrior she is!

Evidently they can't think that far beyond the next election because that is exactly what they are doing. At this rate, eventually there won't be a next election for them.
Remember, this is why they are so adamant about extending voting rights to convicted murderers and rapists, illegal aliens and convicted drug dealers. They want to outlaw positive identification at the polling place to facilitate their frauds.

Boxer is such a hypocrite! I wish she would ABORT herself and NOT an innocent defenseless infant!

Boxershorts and her entire cult-of-death can just bite-it.

Shouldn't this be a barf alert? I see that Senator Box Shorts is keen on privacy but not on human life.

Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., stands by a display of abortion headlines while discussing the upcoming confirmation hearings of John Roberts to the Supreme Court, during a news conference in San Francisco, Wednesday Aug. 10, 2005. Sen. Boxer said that she would vote against John Roberts, President Bush's nominee to the Supreme Court, if she is not convinced he supports abortion and other rights. 'Imagine what is riding on this one Supreme Court vacancy,' the Democrat from California said. 'This one votemeans so much to countless women.'(AP Photo/Eric Risberg)

It's a hideous commentary on humanity when millions of people wake up each morning utterly DRIVEN to do everything within their power, by any means necessary, to preserve the ability (I refuse to call it a right) to slaughter unborn children. They are totally consumed by the issue, distraught at the notion that these babies might be protected and given a chance to live. It's a wonder God hasn't just swatted us out of existence.

Lindsey Graham said it best. Pay no attention to the fringe..the Boxers and the Schumers. Look at the dems on the gang of 14. Any other Dem is irrelevant.
