Spencer to Pirro: Let’s Discuss Your Liberal Record

BUFFALO, NY – Today, Republican and Conservative Party candidate for the U.S. Senate John Spencer sent congratulatory flowers to Jeanine Pirro at her official launch press conference.

The note to Pirro, whose stance on social conservative issues is similar to Hillary Clinton, says, “Jeanine, Congratulations on entering the U.S. Senate race. I look forward to discussing your liberal views. Sincerely, John Spencer.”

Mr. Spencer, a Vietnam Veteran, plans to run on the Republican and Conservative party tickets and will officially announce his campaign in early September.

Mayor John Spencer, 58, served as Mayor of the City of Yonkers from 1996 until 2004. Yonkers is the fourth largest city in New York and saw great prosperity, redevelopment and environmental cleanup under the leadership of Mayor Spencer.

For more information, or to schedule an interview with John Spencer, please call Christian Winthrop at (917)992-3517.

Hahaha!!! Hey, I like your guy. Sounds like my kind of conservative. I just hate Hillary more. I had no idea who this Pirro woman was until a few days ago, so I'm hardly a Pirro person. I'm a beat-Hillary-at-all-costs person. Sorry you guy has to be part of the roadkill on the road to dethroning the Hildebeast.

>> Find me where I referred to Cox and Spencer by name. As a New Yorker, I have seen this party crap out time and time again <<

You said:

"The reason I'd lean towards supporting Pirro in the primary right now is because I know that if Hillary! came back with some strong attacks, Pirro wouldn't curl up in a ball and die."

You said the SPECIFIC reason you'd lean towards Pirro IN THE PRIMARY is that she stands out from the crowd is that SHE won't "curl up and die". Who else is running in the primary? Two announce candidates: JOHN SPENCER and ED COX. If you don't think either of them would curl up and die, then there's no advantage to supporting Pirro over them --you cited that the wimp factor was your number one reason to leaning towards her rather than another GOP candidate.

Please visit www.spencerforsenate.com , because if having a candidate with balls in a big factor for you, I think you will find Mayor Spencer beats Pirro by a landslide on that and every other quality. His website is already going for Hill's jugular while Pirro's is still asking people to sign up for a newsletter. ;-)

You said the SPECIFIC reason you'd lean towards Pirro IN THE PRIMARY is that she stands out from the crowd is that SHE won't "curl up and die".

And that she won't. I never said, "she won't curl up in a ball and die, AS OPPOSED TO JOHN SPENCER AND ED COX," nor was it my intention to make it sound as such (I think that's where the hang-up is). I wait with baited breath to determine how Spencer and Cox are doing in the political cojones department. I never said Cox/Spencer would croak under pressure, and I never said they wouldn't. All I know at this early stage in the game is that Pirro would not.

My point was that I've seen many candidates in this state curl up and die because they quit, the state party quit, or both. 2004 Senate race was yet another example. Mills was an awful candidate, ran a worse campaign, and I don't even know if he cracked 30%. I voted Conservative Party in that race.

I will read the websites of Spencer AND Cox. None of these three individuals will beat Hillary anyway, but I might as well know what I'm getting myself into.

"It doesn't hurt to try to shove Pirro to the right a bit, before she gets the nomination."

So she will bounce further to the left on the rebound?

Didn't Massachusetts get a moderately conservative governor? People who write off whole states don't understand politics. Most people aren't really ideologues, even in NY. They will vote for the candidate they can relate to.

I live in Yonkers myself. Spencer is a scrapper. He is a tough street fighter gritty type of guy. Can he beat Hillary? No Way. I prefer the guy myself, but Pirro is the gal who can most likely unseat the wench.

I will try to do what I can as I think Hillary is a far far greater danger than GOP dissapointments to conservatives. GO PIRRO!
