CLEARWATER - Michael Schiavo has asked a court to waive the two-year statute of limitations on filing a medical malpractice lawsuit against one or more of his deceased wife's caregivers.
Terri Schiavo, 41, died March 31 after her feeding tube was removed after a seven-year court battle.
Schiavo's attorney in this case, Mark Perenich, said he was not able to discuss the proposed lawsuit behind Tuesday's request for an extension of the two-year statute of limitations.
By law, medical malpractice lawsuits must be filed within two years of the alleged misconduct unless an extension is granted.
In October 2003, Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was removed on court order. Doctors reinserted it on orders from Gov. Jeb Bush.
At first I thought this was Scrappleface.
Simply unbelievable!
Why am I not surprised.
Let's review his sterling character: 1) willingness to commit murder for personal convenience, 2) greed, 3) an adolescent desire for attention from millions of strangers, 4) a need to punish anyone who didn't condone his desire to kill his wife.
I think he's going to be even lower than Scott Peterson in The Hot Toasty Place, if that's possible.
*** MAY THIS VULTURE ROT IN HELL ***
Just when you thought he couldn't be a bigger a$$hole.
The man is still trying to make money off her!!! What a creep.
Lord, please let the courts tell this vile murderer NO for once. NO MORE MONEY from deep pockets for dear Mikey and the vampire Felos.
For me it is very very very believable. This was about the money for this man and those he came in contact with.
Sadly the precedence is now set that a county judge can indeed pronounce a death sentence without due process.
No I am not a lawyer, but I have figured out that "precedence" reigns supreme over any law written out of that body called Congress.
hmmmm....I would guess his good buddy Greer....and the disgraced judge will, of course, grant the extension.
Ka-ching!
So where are all the people who claimed Schiavo wasn't in it for the money?
The "Guardian of the Year" set to cash in. *snicker*
I guess the money from the Leftist Death Squad is now being used to feed Cincy Sheehan during her "protest".
This dude has so much chutzpah, he'll probably sue the hospice for removing the feeding tube...
I think this just PROVES that they (the Schindlers) were right to question his reason for wanting her dead!!!
I hope the Schindlers get him in court on a wrongful death suit...for taking away her feeding tube.
This is what the Left doesn't understand about Faith.
Without the Scriptural assurances that opportunistic vultures like Michael will eternally reap what they sow, I, for one, would be compelled to (at minimum) slap him until I felt better.
Instead, I grind my teeth and try to forgive. Mind you, he ain't makin' it easy.
Well, they did disconnect her feeding tube, leading directly to her death. Surely they should be held accountable for that...
Oh wait, that's not the "caregivers" he wants to sue.
Any chance he's looking to sue the two nurses who joined the "save terri" group?
Michael Schiavo has asked a court to waive the two-year statute of limitations
Wonder how all the Michael defenders feel about this. I'd like to hear their 'defense' of this lawsuit. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
I hope somebody finds something to sue this joker about.
