CLEARWATER - Michael Schiavo has asked a court to waive the two-year statute of limitations on filing a medical malpractice lawsuit against one or more of his deceased wife's caregivers.
Terri Schiavo, 41, died March 31 after her feeding tube was removed after a seven-year court battle.
Schiavo's attorney in this case, Mark Perenich, said he was not able to discuss the proposed lawsuit behind Tuesday's request for an extension of the two-year statute of limitations.
By law, medical malpractice lawsuits must be filed within two years of the alleged misconduct unless an extension is granted.
In October 2003, Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was removed on court order. Doctors reinserted it on orders from Gov. Jeb Bush.

Ah, it's a medical malpractice suit. Maybe it has something to do with the feeding tube.
I honestly don't think the money was his main motivation. I think that was just gravy. He had Terri's two cats killed. He had his father killed. He had his mother killed. He had Terri killed. I don't know if he had anything to do with the death of Jodi's mother, but I have my suspicions. I think he just likes to kill. We've seen case after case of nurses who kill their patients. They become addicted to it. I don't think Michael is going to stop now. Do you?
And a real judge would dismiss any such kind of lawsuit out of hand, saying there has been no "harm" done...you got her killed once and you don't get to kill her again.
This is a small town. I have one of Terri's nurses living right by me. I don't bother her but man, she's probably a goldmine. That nurse thought Jeb was going to rescue Terri. It really made her sick that he didn't. She brought up Jeb in conversation. She volunteered that she was Terri's nurse. Terri had a few nurses named Carla.
We'll soon find out, DJ, who's Michael Schiavo's next victim.

Whether killing was his main motivation remains to be seen. Time will tell.

but we are talking about Florida....the judge down there ain't too smart....they may actually think MS should be able to kill Terri, someway, a second time.....

I'm sure all those were motivating factors for him. His main motivation probably changed over time. I think it started over greed, and after he enjoyed the power of killing a couple times, he became addicted to it.
Jodi's mother died at his house. Did you know that he melted down Terri's wedding rings 15 to 20 minutes after she collapsed? Now isn't that a little premature to be designing jewelry? I don't understand why he's been cleared by the State of Florida unless it was to wipe away the wrongdoing by all the Fla officials who are running for office next year. Remember Crist is a NO vote and Everett Rice is a NO vote. They were derelict in their duties and contributed to Terri's barbaric murder. Crist just gave Greer and J. Whittemore awards for defending the judiciary (killing Terri). Crist praised Greer and Whittemore as heroes. Florida has become the ww2 germany.

That's why I won't buy any florida products or travel to florida. My friend just asked me, again, to come down to see her. I told her nope. My other friend has asked me twice to go to NASCAR with him down there. Nope. Told him I'll never go to florida again. I prefer to spend my money in states which don't starve to death the disabled.
Michael's mom didn't want him to starve Terri to death. Shortly thereafter, his mom died of starvation and dehydration. WHERE'S THE FBI, THE MEDIA? Is anybody reading these threads that have facts on them???
