A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day

I saw on the tube recently, do not remember which, but they now sell these luxury motor homes that are like the "ducks" the military use to use. They can with a flip of a switch go from the dry pavement to the water.

I would not mind having one of those.

I'm buying several vacation Cottages, a couple of cars, a horse farm in Kentucky and a private luxuary rail car.

I've done that myself.
Been wandering the empty halls of an old thread wondering where everyone was.
Generally, I eventually figure it out, and slink off embarrassed and find the current thread.

LouieMax update .....

Darn dog is still getting out of the yard. The good news is he isn't going anywhere. He just checks out the vineyard, gets in the water and then comes back wanting someone to let him back in.

We took him to the Vet this morning. He is still favoring his right hind leg.

Vet said he has a slight fever and his leg and hip are swollen. He put him on antibiotics. If he is still limping next week he needs to go back for x-rays.

I asked the doc about a shock collar; he recommended an electric fence. He does not know anyone who has ever used the shock collar.

Also, LouieMax weighs 92 lbs. I told you he was a BIG dog. :)

The luxury motor homes thought was prompted by an often shown show on HGTV about the ones in the Million $$$ and UP Class!!

There even are Luxury Parks for them all over America, complete with all amenities, for them to flock together.

The homes are equipped with gorgeous expensive materials, and really are mansions with wheels -- all kinds of computerized gizmos to calculate equal pressure on the many tires between it and the road - calculate and create fuel efficiency - can you imagine filling up one of them at a station??!!

To your driver:
"How many hundreds of gasoline did it take this time, Henry?"
