4-Corner FReep of Code Pink's Quagmire at Walter Reed, Aug 5 (Heavy graphics, Join us Aug 12!)
DC Chapter ^ | August 8, 2005 | BillF

Posted on 08/08/2005 8:31:33 PM PDT by BillF

For the tenth week in a row, FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond have outnumbered Code Pinkos at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center.  In the liberal bastion of Washington, DC, a city filled with left wing activists and where about 90 percent of the people voted against George Bush, Code Pink cannot muster enough people to achieve the desired fraud and deceit at their Walter Reed protest.

Do you think that the Pinkos are sickos to have an anti-war demonstration at a hospital holding war-wounded? Then please help us by showing up next Friday night per details below.  Stand up against the Pinkos who've endorsed the Iraqi resistance (see here and here), given money to the other side in Fallujah, and called our troops "killers." Then, the Pinkos demonstrate at the hospital and pretend that they support our troops.

FReepers had superior numbers despite the Pinkos' last day decision to hold their blood dance from 7 to 9 pm, instead of the previous 8 to 10 pm that they used for the last 4 months. That information, which was added to the Code Pink web site no more than 30 hours in advance of the actual protest, was relayed to some FReepers via cell phone even as the FReepers were already on their way to the FReep. Using a Halliburton Traffic Light Controller, which is a higher grade version of this, many of us were able to manipulate traffic lights to our advantage so that we could get there before the Pinkos' revised earlier start time.

This was Sixteenth Fabulous Fun FReep of the Code Pinkos as FReepers continue to frustrate the Pinkos' evil scheme. Pinkos want to fake friendship with soldiers in hopes of finding one or more who, vulnerable in their wounded state, can be manipulated into joining the anti-war movement and breaking faith with their fellow troops. Many of the most severely wounded troops from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan are taken to Walter Reed for continued treatment and rehabilitation. The Pinkos other goal is too demoralize those wounded troops.

As we have done on a number of these FReeps, we ate pizza on site at the beginning of the FReep.

The honor roll of those in attendance:  AlwaysFree, tgslTakoma, Albion Wilde, Justanobody, lurker Joan, Christopher Lincoln, Jimmy Valentine's brother, rackatoot, beandog, Jack Deth, Gadsdenman, two daughters and one son of Gadsdenman, Nina0113, Fraxinus (formerly the lurker Sam), BufordP, kristinn, and BillF.

Many of the FReepers, who are regularly at the FReep, were away for Halliburton-sponsored seminars in manipulation of Debold voting machines (why do liberals even bother voting?),  facial recognition software, planning one-way GITMO trips for leftists, and related topics, but we were still able to get our second highest attendance ever.

Click on another photo and its larger version should open in the same window that the first enlarged photo did. Note that some of the wider photos may open in a window wider than your screen and you can use a horizontal scroll bar to see parts. Photos marked with an asterisk are great photos taken by Gadsdenman.

Photos will be interspersed in the report. As it got progressively darker, my telephoto lens shots became less clear, requiring software enhancement. You will notice that people look more like cartoon characters in my later telephoto lens photos. Gadsdenman brought a very good camera, telephoto lenses, and flash, allowing him to capture high quality tele-photos in the dark.]

Opposed to our nineteen patriots, the Pinkos had yet another pathetic outing. The leftists peaked at eleven America-hating traitors. However, many did not come until the second hour and one was only there for the last ten minutes. Their average for the 2 hour window designated by the Pinkos for their blood dance was about seven. Our average was about fourteen as some of our side did not get the late notice about the earlier start time.

As shown on the photo at right, Blue Pony-Tail Guy and Squeegee Guy  are illegally attaching a banner to the Walter Reed fence. (Last week, Squeegee Guy on the right in the photo was carrying his sign into the crosswalk in front of cars at every red light. We thought he was going to squeegee some of the cars.)

Two photos below, you will see Gael Murphy re-attaching the banner that Blue Pony-Tail Guy and Squeegee Guy attached at right photo. If we could have heard Murphy, I'm guessing that she was saying, "Good help is hard to find. I have to do everything." Or maybe she was just thinking that? (Of course, attaching a banner to the Walter Reed fence is illegal as it is the equivalent of having a demonstration on military property.)

Early on, Blue Pony-Tail Guy and Squeegee Guy illegally attach
banners to federal property (i.e., the Walter Reed fence).

Early leftists' line, except that woman in blue jeans is just walking across the street. Notice that DC Chief Pinko Gael Murphy is
re-attaching the same banner ineptly attached by Blue Pony-Tail Guy and Squeegee Guy in the top photo above.

Murphy joins the rest in holding a sign. Notice especially the car on left with a banner attached to it and signs leaning on it. (Sorry
that my auto-focus did not work or is that just the vagueness of some of the Pinko signs?)

from the Pinkos and across the side street from our main force

A car leaving Walter Reed pulled over and rolled down its window. The driver said "Are you protesting them" (pointing at the Pinkos)?  I said, "Yes, we are counter-protesting them because it's wrong to have an anti-war demonstration at a hospital. We are also here to support the troops and their missions." The driver, who had one artificial arm, was amazed. He thanked us and went on his way. I thanked him for his service and for my freedom.

Traffic was backed up behind him. Otherwise, I would asked him about his unit, whether he served in Iraq or Afghanistan, and other things.

Late in the FReep, a Walter Reed patient (photo on right) came over to talk with the FReepers. (This was after the Pinkos had left.) I ask rackatoot, Albion Wilde and Christopher Lincoln if one or more of them or other FReepers would kindly describe the interaction with this particular patient.

As usual, we had far more honks of support than the leftists did. Among others, we had at least one big truck honk upon seeing tgslTakoma's massive Mother-of-all-banners (MOAB), our numerous American flags, and support the troops signs.

There was little interaction with the Code Pinkos except as described below.

Looking down the FReep line. A Walter Reed patient with cane
talks with rackatoot, Albion Wilde and Christopher Lincoln *

CODE PINK AND GAEL MURPHY UNHINGED

Pinkos at just below their average strength for the night.

Remember that the Pinkos had attached their "Bush Lied" banner to a car and had used it to support various signs (see third and fourth photos from the top and photo just above)? It was not a Pinko's car, as one might have thought. They just taped or tied their banner and signs to some car that happened to be parked there as you will observe in the below photos (action sequence photos from Gadsdenman) when the car owner in the short-sleeved green-shirt confronts the Pinkos.

Green-shirted car owner (center) confronts Gael Murphy and Blue Pony-Tail Guy about them using his car for their signs as Squeegee
Guy and Pinko woman pull banner off the car.*

Green shirt car owner apparently complained to Murphy about something on his car. He had at least 2 support the troops ribbons
on his car before the leftists messed with it. Wonder if they thought that he was a FReeper and they ripped off one of the ribbons? *

After the car owner had the leftists remove their banners and signs from his car, he talked to Murphy about something. FReepers were chanting "sue Gael Murphy, sue Gael Murphy!" The car owner got into his car and drove away.

Isn't it just like leftists to use someone else's property to hold controversial signs? If somebody damaged the car because they didn't like the message and the perpetrator gets away, would Murphy reimburse the owner? Yeah, right.

Full line of leftists after the car was driven away. Notice how Gael Murphy is off in her own little world at the right of the photo, leaning
on a lamp post.

NOT HYPERLINKED

Murphy searches the sky.

Murphy-land is not much fun on this night *

She stood apart from the rest of the Pinkos *

Murphy's behavior was, at the very least, strange. In left above photo, she seems to be searching the sky  for answers. Wonder if she was on-guard to see if we had gotten our carrier pigeons to "drop" on command yet. In the middle, she seems to be leaning into the lamp post and she seems off-balance at the right. She stood apart from the other Pinkos for some time. Maybe National Chief Pinko Medea Benjamin is ordering Murphy to take the next batch of Pinko aid to "the other side" in Fallujah?

Pinkos pack to go as Murphy drags the flag on the ground and the top of her shoes. Squeegee Guy doesn't want to quit his fun. *

As shown in above photo, Murphy is dragging the flag on the ground to roll it up. It's a mistake when someone accidentally touches a flag on the ground, but the Pinkos have done this week after week when they pack to leave. This was just the first time that we've gotten a real good photo of them dragging it.

Notice also the "Proud of WHO WE ARE" sign that is the leftists' attempt to answer our sign that points to them as "Marxist Code Pinkos" (shown in 3rd photo below).

Speaking of proud Pinkos, Squeegee Guy (tall guy in photo at right) was limited to standing at the Pinko main position. That corner doesn't really present the opportunity that he had last week. On that occasion, he would step into the crosswalk at each red light and wave his sign at the poor motorist stopped just next to him. If he had done the cross-walk thing this week, the stopped cars would have been across the side street or he'd have had to walk across three lanes to get to the cars on his side of the intersection.

Meanwhile, Crazy Backpack Guy (shorter one in photo at right) brought his Bush as a Mullah sign for the second week in a row. That completely distracts from Pinkos' alleged support for the troops, but then we know the only troops that the Pinkos really support are the enemy  (see here and here), those killing our troops, blowing up innocent Iraqi civilians on purpose, and beheading other civilians.

I wish that Crazy Backpack Guy would bring a new sign. The classic sign from him, shortly after the 7/7 London bombings, said "Terrorist Act Follows Popularity Nose Dive and Yet More 911 revelations . . . DUH!" This tin-foiled hat loony actually believed that Bush caused or helped the London bombings in order to improve his popularity or divert attention from 911 revelations.

I wish that he would bring a new sign. We need something new to laugh at!

One leftist, who arrived very late, walked by us on her way back to her car. Apparently disgusted by lack of notice of the change in time of the Pinko protest, she said as she walked by "show up, hold a sign for ten minutes, then go home." (I don't think that she is likely to return, another benefit of Gael Murphy's incompetance.)

Squeegee Guy and Crazy Backpack Guy are two proud Pinkos *

TAKING THE FOURTH CORNER

Our numbers were so large during most of the FReep that we occupied all three corners, other than the one occupied by Pinkos. Moreover, as they packed up very quickly just after 9 pm and fled the scene of their latest treason, we occupied that corner for some time. As some Pinkos apparently consoled each other in cars down the block, we occupied all four corners per four below photos.

Shortly after the Pinkos vacated their corner, we reclaimed it for the patriots. Jack Deth, BufordP, kristinn, Justanobody,
AlwaysFree
, and Gadsdenman's two daughters. *

What the Pinkos see. Gadsdenman took this great photo of the main FReeper position as seen from the diagonal Pinko corner after
they had scurried away and we had taken possession of their corner for the patriots. tgslTakoma's MOAB dominates the scene.  *

This is what the Pinkos were seeing directly across Georgia Ave from them. Note the arrow sign at the right, which sign is identical
on both sides, with arrow pointing correctly to Pinkos on both sides.*

It was around the time that during our occupation of all four corners that we realized why the Pinkos had moved up their protest time. A bus filled with wounded patients returned after taking them out on the town. Last week (click for the report), a patient had described how the patients in the bus give the Pinkos one finger salutes as the bus returns to Walter Reed.

The Pinkos apparently moved up their protest time so that they would be gone before the troop bus returned. I had noticed that the Pinkos packed with unusual haste. It was hard for the leftists to keep saying that they support the troops and then have the troops flip them off. Therefore, the leftists changed their protest time and packed in a hurry to make sure that they were gone before the patient bus returns.

As has happened during the last couple months, the Pinkos didn't even pretend to be protesting the fact that Walter Reed admits new war-wounded patients at night, instead of during the day. That is their pretense for holding their continuing obscene blood dance at the hospital, instead of at the White House or Congress, where policy decision makers are. None of their signs had anything to do with night-time admissions. The Pinkos outside Walter Reed still pretend that they support the troops, but few, if any, troops are buying it. After all, the Pinko web site still calls our troops "killers." Plus, FReepers are on scene making sure that troops know the truth about the Pinkos.

Although not taken from the Pinko corner, this shows what the
Pinkos would see across the side street most of the night.
kristinn and Nina0113 across Georgia Ave from our main force

We absolutely must keep the pressure on Code Pink and keep showing the wounded soldiers at Walter Reed that Code Pink doesn't speak for the nation. If you live in the DC area and haven't yet come out for one of these FReeps, please do so this next Friday. Injured Walter Reed patients, including amputees, have repeatedly told us how important it is for us to be there to counter Code Pink.

If we can sufficiently outnumber the leftists often enough, embarrassment may cause the leftists to stop these outrageous morale-damaging ("Maimed for a lie" is one of their commonly-used signs) demonstrations at the hospital. What about you? Can you spare a few hours on a Friday night?

Can you give up next Friday night at the movies to support troops who've given up limbs for your freedoms? Will you?

This FReep is rewarding, fun and important for our troops and our nation.

You were missed. Please note my lovely Club Gitmo bracelet, and know that you were with us in spirit.

I ended up on the other side of the street while my Club Gitmo air conditioner remained at my previous location. I wouldn't give up ground to cross and get it, regardless of how desperately it was needed. ;*(

Murphy looks like she's been hanging out with Mr Dickel. I wonder how much she is paid to do this stuff.

Wouldn't it do wonders for the troops in Walter Reed to know about this thread! Even the sight of a photo of the MOAB would raise spirits,

I am guessing they know maica. Several soldiers have walked out and have seen and/or talked with us. We have been photographed with cell phone cameras a number of times that I have noticed, by those leaving WR.

The charter bus filled with our heroes every Friday night are aware of our presence. Also, the wife of a soldier has come by a couple of times and even wrote about us in her blog. One night her husband told her he was tired and told her to go out and check on the FReepers. Maybe the others have more specifics.

Thanks for the ping. I plan on being there Friday night. It might be 7 instead of 6:30 but I'm going to try and make it at 6:30. Had a good time and was glad to come out and help. What do you guys do if it rains? Do the pinkos show up?

Hope you're feeling better.

Thanks, it was great to have you join us.

Do you want to be added to the official DC Chapter ping list? If not, you may not be notified of our activities and may miss out.

Relative to the weather, see #16 and #17 above. We, or at least the most incorrible among us, will do our best to show up and thank the Walter Reed patients.

We've had some drizzle, but no heavy rain during the protest time. The Pinkos showed up in the drizzle.

You've been pinged separately (i.e., apart from the DC Chapter pings) to the threads.

Unless you instruct me to the contrary via FReepmail or reply, I'll add you to the DC Chapter ping list. That will insure that you get pinged, as opposed to a hit or miss ping.

Right you are. I knew that the pain or the pain medication was going to cause some mistake.

She did say that. That Pinko was definitely very unhappy with their management.

Thanks for the kind words, but I always say that the true heroes are in Walter Reed, the other members of our military, veterans, and those who died in service. Also, the family members of those who sacrifice along with their military loved ones.

God bless you and keep you safe, there in Korea.
