He Acted Like It Was A Party’? (Cindy Sheehan Busted!)
Fox News Political Grapevine ^ | 8/8/2005 | Brit Hume and Michael Levine

Posted on 08/08/2005 4:56:50 PM PDT by markomalley

Cindy Sheehan (snip) said yesterday on CNN that a private meeting with President Bush last year was offensive, insisting, "He acted like it was a party ... he came in very jovial, like we should be happy that ... our son died for [the President's] misguided policies."

But just after that 2004 meeting, she gave a very different account, (snip) "I now know [the president is] sincere about wanting freedom for the Iraqis. I know he's sorry and feels some pain for our loss. And I know he's a man of faith." (snip)

Well, I'm off anyways...I guess that nap yesterday added a day onto my perception of time...

Breaking news to the networks is always confusing over the weekend, since often we've hashed it out here on FR and dropped it a few days before it shows up on the network news.

Nope...Kritinn called Drudge and I think she, or somebody else IM'd him about the threads we had running on it last night.

Ummm, he's a man.

FReepers broke it. One guy even paid to get an archived Vacaville, CA, newspaper story on the meeting posted.

I misspelt the name and added an 's'. This is the fourth time I've said that on this thread. Unfortunately there's no "edit" on posts here, so I can't fix it. Mea Culpoa Mea Culpa. Mea Maximuma Culpa.

It happens to us all. I can't tell you how many times I made a mistake and was reminded of my mistake at every other posting.

I'm sure that's true but it would sure be interesting to find out who is paying her bills - and what kind of a little enticement is sitting in her savings account - no way to know that stuff, probably.

"Ummmm....could have sworn Kristinn is a man! :)"

At the Freeper Ball in DC he had a beard and no boobs. He is definitely a man and one hell of a Freeper.

From what I've read here on FR, I think Kristinn and a few others emailed Drudge (and many others) yesterday. Plus, I think some of those folks lurk here.

What a pathetic LIAR this woman is. I love calling these leftists what they call the President! In their case, I am telling the truth however.

Didn't the little jerkette know that there was a video of the meeting somewhere, and that she'd be shown to be a liar. I thought that was out of character for Dubya. If he had acted like that in dealing with ANY of the families of the fallen soldiers, it would have been plastered all over prime-time news casts.

If I may rant about two things on TV this morning.

I'm suring along looking for shuttle news and there is Good Morning America showing a memorial in Ohio for the recently killed marines.

Next sentence....and there's another mother of a marine in a DESPERATE MISSION......Cindy Sheehan

Needless to say those were the last words before I changed channels.....desperate mission????????

Next thing I see is CSPIN and the question is whether President Bush should meet with Cindy Sheehan.......

Too bad the media forgets the word AGAIN in their biased coverage.
