Cindy Sheehan has gone from opposing President Bush to bashing America. Calling the United States "immoral", she says she doesn't want to live in a country like this and is ready for jail. The woman, whose son was killed in Iraq, is protesting at Crawford, TX and said the following today:
SHEEHAN: "I don't want to live in a country like this. And this country is immoral, the laws are immoral, the people who enforce the laws are immoral. And, like Henry David Thoreau said, the only place for a moral person to be is in jail. And I'm ready to go to jail."
A recording of her shocking statement is currently available here: (MP3 format, size 124KBytes, length 15.4 sec)
Sheehan's outrageous comments today came during an interview with moonbat conspiracy radio host, Alex Jones.
I'd pony up $100 if she would only SHUT UP!
When Thoreau made that statement, he made it to another author who was visiting him at the time I believe, his name escapes for the moment. If I recall correctly, the visiting author had a marvelous comeback to Thoreau, anyone remember what the comeback was?
She next tried to spoon feed us the notion that GWB was almost jovial when she met him last year and accused him of "acting like it was a party". What a change a year makes as her immediate reaction then was to praise Bush for bringing her family the "gift of happiness,".
At first I thought her grief distorted her memory. However this skunk who has the nerve to DEMAND GWB meet with her again, has been photographed with Wilson and has joined with moveon.org and therein lies the reason for it all.
Apparently this media hound is dissatisfied with the 24/7 coverage and now hopes to be arrested. Why she doesn't leave this 'immoral country' is beyond me.
LOL... I'll bet Alec Baldwin would put her up in his house in France until she got a place of her own.
It's actually kind of sad, this woman, in her grief, is being used by the Dems for politics.
Any feeling of sympathy I had for this woman has evaporated. She is now a certified barking moonbat. If the United States is so bad, and she doesn't want to live here, let her get her silly posterior someplace she likes better. Hey, I would even be willing to kick in a few pennies toward a one-way ticket.
this woman isn't grieving anymore, she is using her son's name and death to voice her opinion of our country and president. she was against President Bush since 2000, still thinks he stole the election. This is nothing more than an old hippie flowerchild, living in a time warp, protesting another war. She won't leave this country, she wouldn't survive in a foreign place

I don't think it is sincere. She is willingly being used and is putting on an act for the left. She debases her son's efforts and therefore his life and she is doing it for cheap political purposes. She is no more irrational than the rest of the lefties.
And like most leftist femenists she would look really good in a full burka. (Which I suppose is the opposite of a full Monty.)
Trying her best to claim her 15 minutes of fame on the back of her dead son.
Just hope for the best for her, that's all.
Sigh. I guess she's just like the rest of the bitch-and-moan liberals.
It's good that every time her name is spoken it's somehow in conjunction with the word "moonbat."
If you ignore her will the MSM? We can't just let this wackjob and the MSM get away with all their lies.
How about a new headline? "Attention-Hungry Psycho Bitch Dishonors Son's Death"
"I wonder if other soldiers worry about their own family members going out and making a mockery of their sacrifices should something happen to them?"
I hope they don't have to add "family member going over the edge" to the already heavy worry list they have!
Who of us really knows if she has always been this way?
It really is hard to watch ... sad to see.
